Here’s my pro tip for a cheap and effective mod. Try a magnet swap on the pickups. For just a few bucks you can swap those bar magnets. Alnico 5 for general upgrade, Al 4 for a more vintage tone, Al 3 for smooth blues tones, Al 2 for a mellowed al5 tone. Even Al 8 for more gain friendly. I have one, but it was honestly kind of shitty when I bought it. The nut is plastic which is awful. The frets stick out too much (albeit not as much as other cheap guitars). The pickups are fine though. I don't need to replace them.
Im positive its worth the 200. But today you can get one delivered for that too, and you might as well. Heres what you do with one. Lower the studs the trem floats on to the point that the trem plate base lays flat on the guitar with the spring claw tightened about all the way essentially making it a hardtail. Throw away the trem arm(put in drawer or case) using this with the angle the strings go over the nut was just a terrible terrible idea. Just...horrible. As for the frets being perfect. Ha. If you pay a guitar technician to level the frets then you have a great guitar. Not out of the box for that amount of money.

Is the neck of this guitar much thicker feeling than similarly priced Ibanez’s with a Wizard neck?
I can't get anyone to tell me that. I just fell in love with a Wizard III neck as I was able to hit notes/frets I just can't on my Fender Strat.
Tf you said cheap pickups it's the best pickup ever for that price. Even ibanez and Ltd couldn't match the high gain stuffs of Jackson.
Is the tremelo both ways or one way?
can you oil the neck without taking it off?
also what oil did you use for the fretboard and neck
@Robert Anthony ok thanks
does the 2 point trem flutter?
Can anyone recommend and good Tuning Ped replacement for this guitar, He's right about the g string staying in tune, my does the same thing. Thumbs up on your video great info.
I bought gotoh magnum trad locking tuners. Dropped right in.
How well would one of these be for lower tunings?
hey, did u ever get an answer?
Js24 is better. I have both. Whammy bar stays in place better slightly thicker volume and tone knobs. Better wood and paint finish it's worth paying a bit more for it. Amaranth fretboard dries out on js22
This is a guitar ASMR video half way through 😂
It's good that they don't set it up that's all about personal preference they could set it up and someone else could say i don't like how it's set up. Set up depends on the person there's no set up that will satisfy everyone.
I have one, but it was honestly kind of shitty when I bought it. The nut is plastic which is awful. The frets stick out too much (albeit not as much as other cheap guitars). The pickups are fine though. I don't need to replace them.
I got the exact same guitar except I got the blue one, Jackson Guitars 4 Life❤👍
Im positive its worth the 200.
Damn didn't know they still made 6string guitars
The tremolo bridge goes out of tune in a short period of time
You look like Scott Ian.
Cherokee Ronnie? If it ain't you then you have a twin, lol.
You look like Scott ian fron anthrax
How the fuck could you ever think that jackson guitars are junk?
Hurts everytime he saids "Cheap" :c
