Do you really live in China or it has been only a journey for some time? I think there's some mistake when you mention about from how many years have you travelled. By using 'have been' you don't have to say about years. By the way, what kind of English do Chinese people learn AMD which you learn? British? American?
Sorry, I should write in ur account in Russian, as I learn Russian but I m still A1 . But I have a question, why do u teach them English and not Russian? So instead the kids learn one language, they learn 2 language. As a Russian, u have to work on spreading Russian as well.
You can write in any language it's okay!:) I can't teach these kids Russian, because kindergarten wants me to teach them English. And English is much more popular, of course. But I still think about teaching Russian abroad:)

Aus meiner eigenen Erfahrung kann ich dir (zum Selbstlernen) für den Anfang wärmstens einen Kurs empfehlen, auf den ich in youtube Kommentaren gestoßen bin. Er heißt "The Michel Thomas Method for language learning - Russian". Die Lernmethode ist sozusagen "gehirngerecht", du hast dabei schon von Anfang an Erfolgserlebnisse und bekommst eine solide Basis. Der Kurs besteht aus mehreren CDs und einer PDF-Datei, die du dir ausdrucken kannst. Gibt es auf Amazon, auch recht günstig für einen Selbstlernkurs. Ich will dir hier nichts "andrehen", ich teile nur meine Begeisterung, weil ich dadurch jetzt in der Lage bin, Videos wie die von Max anzuschauen und im Großen und Ganzen zu verstehen. Natürlich kommen viele unbekannte Wörter vor, aber aus dem Kontext und auf der Basis des Michel Thomas Kurses kann ich die Lücken ergänzen. Der Kurs hat den Ansatz, daß es die Aufgabe des Lehrers ist, dir es so klar und einfach beizubringen, daß du dir nicht massiv was ins Gedächtnis pressen mußt - einfach weil der Basiswortschatz und Basisgrammatik auf denkbar eingängige Weise erklärt werden. A Russian teaching English to Chinese.....that's interesting....do you ever mix languages in a sentence by accident (combinations of English and Russian or Chinese words in the same sentence by accident?). Have you ever tried to portray yourself as being from England or another country by using accent and your language skill (not for criminal reasons but as a joke)?
Hey Forrest! Yes it happened a couple of times when I accidentally spoke out smth in Russian. Sort of surprising I think like "Что???" Or disappointing as "блииин!" But smth with my Chinese colleagues I used 2 languages English and some word in Chinese just because it was very fast and fun to ask 'yǒu méi yǒu milk?' literally meaning 'have or don't have milk'?
Yea, I call this phenomena composite language, my favorite phrase is: Looney (English insane person) and люди (Russian people) combined for a new slang for crazy people .............Looney люди!..........Can linguistics be fun?
