A wife that is happy because you are happy PRICELESS. You have already won the game of life.
Thanks for watching and noting this. I am so thankful for our life and the life we get to live.
Diesel power. Way to go.
For sure!
Just bought the F250 Platinum 6.7 HO 2 weeks ago ( Wow the power is unbelievable) , also with 11100 GVW package so ended up with 3143 # payload and all other options including the panoramic roof , we love the open feeling. Only 1100 Kilometers so far ( I’m in Canada) but like you I’ve owned many luxury vehicles and trucks over the years and absolutely love this made in Kentucky truck so far. Now waiting for our New 2025 AS Pottery Barn to arrive in November . Exciting times ahead! Keep up the great work with your videos, I’ve learned a lot from you !! Thanks !
So glad to hear you've enjoyed it so far. We love the super duty's and this is no exception. So glad you find our channel helpful! Excited to see the new rig when you get it!
Congrats on the new truck! She’s a beauty!
Thank you very much.
Nice looking rig. Hope that it brings you many years of reliable and safe travels. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Bravo Zulu.
Thank you very much! Just released a weight and balance video today and a tour of the outside is coming on Sunday.
I lived in O’Fallon, IL while stationed at Scott AFB, 1997-1999. Your truck is amazing. I have a 2018 6.7 Plati and I love it. Enjoy. Semper Fidelis, Leatherneck!! From a 9904, 27 year Jarhead. Get some!!
Semper Fi!!!! We love this truck. Loved our 2017 too, but this one has all sorts of extra that that one didnt have.
Thanks for watching and reaching out.
Awesome. With all your gear, you need that truck!
Sure do! Im working on the tour video to cover all the things now. Hopefully, I can have it ready by Wednesday.
So damned excited about this and all the future truck videos.
Thanks for watching and your feedback! Working on all of them now. So far, there are at least 3 more coming.
@@ThirteenAdventures That’s awesome! I’ll be buying a Superduty next year and this is incredibly helpful.
Beautiful Truck. My wife sounds like yours 😅. “A truck is a truck” Renewing Your warranty is a Big Plus with New Trucks. Congratulations 👍🏼 Enjoy It!
Thanks for watching and your feedback. We have loved it so far!
Brad: I also went with a cap instead of a tri fold tonneau on my new truck. Extremely happy with at decision.
So great to hear! Thanks for the info. We love ours so far.
In 4 trucks never had a ford factory bedliner fail or disappoint. 2016 and newer.
We had no issues with it on our 2017 model and we would have ordered it on this one if I knew we weren't adding the bed cap and carpet. Thanks for your feedback and insight.
Green with envy about that new truck! Well done!
Thank you! I hope we can visit on our way back though there in November!
Add a SB 60 Gallon tank- you won’t regret it!
It's on my list of things! Thanks for the recommendation.
Nice! I have a 2022 F-250 Platinum with a bed slide and cap (taller cap though, so I don't have to lower the saddles on my bikes). Always wondered about the benefit of the air bags and look forward to learning from you guys.
The higher cap is a very nice option...particularly with bikes. Ive got videos brewing on the airbags and all other things! Thanks for watching and your feedback.
I'm so excited for yall and I'm looking forward to seeing more of yalls truck.
Thank you so very much!
We went with the factory spray in liner and a Decked bed drawer system.
Love their drawer system. I wanted to do that but carrying our bikes back there causes me to loose too much space unless I go with the very tall cap.
Nice new ride
Thank you very much!
Looking forward to more information on the new truck. My F250 Plantium starts production this coming week.
Awesome! You''ll be getting a 2025 model! They are pretty awesome!
Your Airlift Wireless Remote actually has 3 presets. Press both the . and .. button together for preset 3.
A hidden level! Thanks for the info!
Nice truck. A truck is a truck until she experiences the power steps and massaging seats.
Thanks! We had those in the last truck too!
Nice, nice, truck!!!
Thank you very much!
We sold 2002 F150 for a new 2021 F150 that came with tow package and other great options. Don’t even feel the 20 ft Bambi is following. Looking forward to your truck videos.
Perfect truck for the Airstream you have! We love the 150s and if we didnt travel so much or had a 23' or smaller trailer, that is exactly what we would have.
I have the bed rug to love it
It's a great addition so far. I like it more than I thought I would
Congratulations
Congrats on the F350. I absolutely have NO regrets in getting my 2019 F350.
Quick DEF question - do you ONLY use FORD Motorcraft DEF? Looking forward to more in depth videos on the Gucci-gear you installed on the new truck.
Hello and thanks for watching! In our 2017 350 diesel, I used whatever DEF was available when I needed it. I had a number of issues with that DEF system to include at least 10 visits to a dealership for a manual regeneration and replacement of the filter once.
After addressing these issues with the owner of the dealership and the lead tech, and their lead diesel guy; they all recommended that I only use Motorcraft, so I have done my best to do so thus far. I have found though that not all Ford dealers carry it! Many have off brand.
I'll address this in an upcoming video.
Nice Truck, those wheels look awful, we had a new platinum super duty in our shop the other day and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw them. Also didn’t see any clearance lights in the video, I wouldn’t get a new Super Duty without them.
Good call on not getting the moonroof there noisy and leak.
We had the moonroof on our last Platinum and while it never leaked, it was replaced twice and the motor broke again before we traded it in. Never again. We like the black wheels as they dont show brake dust as much.
Hopefully Ford has resolved their defective ac compressor issues and parts back order.
I agree! This was something I talked to the dealership at length about. So far, no issues on our ned. Thanks for watching .
Just seeing that you are in Texas. I am the Dallas area. About 7 months ago I took delivery of my 2024 F350 SRW 6.7HO Platnium Tremor to tow our 2024 Brinkley Z3610 with just over 15k miles the truck has been amazing! I do like the sunroof though and the deployable running boards are a must. This is my first Diesel and first RV of any kind. I am totally maxed out with gear for a two week trip. Payload, GVWR, GAWR are all within 100 pounds of max. I added the AirLift Load Level 7500XL. At 50 PSI it was a game changer for stability and took away the “chucking or bucking” you can get with a Gooseneck and even bumper pulls. Which airbags did you go with? The ReadyAir system was a consideration as well.
We call Texas home although we are not in the area much. We have property near Abilene. I hope to offer it for boon-docking later this year.
With our 2017 350 Diesel Platinum, I came to love all of the 'extras' that came with it except the sunroof. While it was nice to allow light in, I rarely had it open and it also broke ...twice.
Those Brinkley's are great! The look so good. Before we got into Airstream, we had two different Montana 5th wheels. We found they were wonderful for us to live in and stay mostly stationary but the type of travel we most enjoy, they were too big.
I listed all products with links (that were available) from Amazon in the video description. But I purchased the AirLift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate. I wish I had added Airbags years ago. They make such a difference!
@@ThirteenAdventures Did the LoadLifter 5000 make the ride a bit rougher when unloaded? I meant LoadLifter, load lever isn’t a thing :). With the XL7500 I for sure see a difference in the ride unloaded. Not my favorite but necessary. We added sumo springs to the Brinkley, they say it takes the vibration down a lot.
Those AirStreams will hold together long term much better IMO over any other unit out there. The size is a blessing and a curse all rolled into one in these larger multi-slide units.
If we were full time we would be traveling all the time. You really get to see God’s handy work when you get out there. The 30-A area “Santa Rosa Beach” of Florida was our long travel spot this summer. That area is like a parallel universe to our own. An absolute amazing place to spent some time. The whole area is like a movie set, just perfect. The Old Florida Fish House in particular is a great restaurant.
Lake Powell Arizona was another amazing place. I am sure you guys have seen a lot of others. We are working our way around the usual hot spots.
Ive never driven it unloaded with the airbags so I dont know. I assume it would be quite stiff.
We are so fortunate to travel like we do. Im in my 14th year of full-time in an RV with hundreds of thousands of miles criss-crossing this beautiful land.
@@ThirteenAdventures I appreciate the response, maybe we’re talking about two different things. The airbags I have go on the suspension and have a minimum of 5 psi do to the Logic IQ system. At that minimum of 5 psi they still ride kind of rough. At 50 psi it would ride like a covered wagon lol. I just assumed you had the same thing and when you get to your location driving you drive your truck around unloaded.
You guys are lucky to be able to travel like that!!
Ours are on the suspension too. It is a bit rough for sure. What I meant was, the topper, bed slide and all of our gear in the back weigh it down a bit to lessen the stiffness of the airbags. Ive never gone above 35 psi but it was rough. Cant imagine what 50 feels like.
I think I may have been the first person to see your new truck. Seems like you’re enjoying it…
You absolutely were the first person to see it! So glad we got to spend some time with you.
TMT (to much truck) I have a 2019 Ford F-350 XL SD 4x4 crew cab long bed, and pull a 29 foot travel trailer with no problems or issues. I think the added trim levels just are too much fluff for to much money on things you don’t need. But, if you have the money to waste on bling for a SD, go ahead and be happy. Safe travels and God Bless. 🇺🇸
I appreciate you watching and your thoughts. Yes, it has plenty of extra but those things make our travel much more comfortable as we spend a ton of time in the truck. I also worked many years to be able to purchase something like this and am grateful for the opportunity to do so. Im glad you have found a vehicle that fits your needs and desires.
Watch your bed rails, I have the same truck and cap and it rubbed the paint off my rails in some spots within 2 months.
Thank you very much for the tip! Ill check it out!
BOOM 💥 💥 💥 GRET VIDEO ❤ STAY SAFE ❤
Thank you very much! We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to get this.
Very nice!
Thank you!
Nice!!
Thank you!
I bought a 24 F350 Platinum 6.7 HO
It's a great truck. Did you drive both engine types to see what the difference felt like?
Nice!
Thank you!
All that chrome on front grill, I would Raptor liner spray it.
as in raptor bed liner spray?
What products do you use to clean bugs off the front of your Airstream?
I used to use Aero Cosmetics to clean the whole trailer. You can see it in this video: ua-cam.com/video/WO7KEGsuF9Y/v-deo.html
Now, since the MAC Ceramic coating, I just wash with basic car soap when it's very dirty or just wipe them off with a microfiber cloth. You can see that video here: ua-cam.com/video/kgydxubC_YU/v-deo.html
Are you going to be towing from just the ball now? Airbags to level the truck? Front end separation and weight distribution systems make me not want to use that setup. Can you please help us with that topic?
Ive only towed with the ball for a few years. Ive talked about this on many videos. I will address this in upcoming truck videos but I agree that the WD hitches are the root cause for all of the FES. If you want to discuss further, please send me a message via the 'contact us' link on our website. Thanks for watching!
Any specific break-in needed for the engine and transmission? My jeep manual wanted 500 miles before any towing, then limited towing to 50 mph for the next 500 miles.
This is from the manual "Your vehicle requires a break-in period. For the first 1,000 mi (1,600 km), avoid driving at high speeds, heavy braking, aggressive shifting or using your vehicle to tow. During this time, your vehicle may exhibit some unusual driving characteristics."
I talked to the dealership about this along with their senior diesel mech. They all said as long as I wasn't doing very aggressive driving, it should be no issue. I had to pull a trailer right away. Good thing is it was on mostly backroads and fairly flat terrain for the first 1500 miles. I also rarely go over 65 when pulling the trailer and the truck can handle a load 3x what our trailer weighs.
Where did you get your bed cover/topper?
I thought I covered this in the video...It was part of the purchase of the truck. It was damaged in shipment to the dealership and caught up to me in St Louis.
Have they improved or changed the failure prone Bosch CP4 fuel pump?
I never had an issue with it on our 17 model. I have heard of it happening as recently as 2021 but nothing after that.
Que luxo de caminhonete nos EUA no Brasil só tem lixo
Concordar. Passei muito tempo em outros países e raramente vejo algo assim
Whoa, that’s gotta be what, about $200 k after the add ins and accessories and labor.
no way!!! There is no way Blair would have allowed me to spend that much. it was under 100k before taxes with the deal I got and then they gave me a great trade in on the trade.
I need a new job. 😩
This was many years of saving for sure!
