8:21 Well this ball is used on the FIBA and the PBA (Philippine Basketball Association), PBA is the first league to use the BG5000 ball, with mixed reactions from PBA players, with a player said "is still adjusting on the new (basket)ball"

Bryan Dy I only used the bg4500 (the Successor of GG7x) a few times that’s why I haven’t make a review on it yet. I want to play it more often because I make a full review that way you guys can have accurate information. But so far I feel like the bg4500 is feel smaller compared to GG7x. It feels like women ball the size 6 but slightly bigger and the grips is ok right now it probably need a little time to broken in. But yeah as for now I would just stick the GG7x

I have a molten BG5000 here and after several used the leather in it got yellowish

Is it true that a newly purchased ball, over time of use, can increase its weight and size a little more?
When u put it in a bucket of water, the white color on this ball turns yellowish and it's grip are improving
I don’t know if want to do that. I had bad experience with other ball through this method
Have you used the 4500 outdoors? I plan on buying since I play outdoors most of the time
Beggar McBeggar no I haven’t used it outside. But I wouldn’t recommend using this ball outdoor. If you can get your hand on Nike True Grip is a good outdoor basketball.
as for now all my basketballs r being use indoor only. Maybe once I’m running out of indoor basketball to reviews then I can start the outdoor balls.

@@silverpermsamurai i use it outdoors cause i simply dont care for indoor/outdoor but its fine just need to break in cause the dust makes it slippery (for me personally the guys i play with dont seem to have that problem). The same with my other molten the gfx7 it just wears down the material but there still tons of grip and great bounce( used it for a year outdoors) playing at leadt 3-4 times and its still holding great no colour fades or material tears

I used mine. And after 2 games it looses its grip.. unlike his former brother the GF7X.. it still grip after 5 months of usage outdoors..

Thanks for the sub. I still don’t like it. It still has this odd feeling to it. The ball did get a little smoother on the surface but other than that it didn’t change much.

why you add air on bg5000
What basketball should I get, I play in AAU and all practices are indoor, and I can only pay up to 45 dollars
I forgot to mention that I need something long lasting because I can't buy very many basketballs
Do you know what kind of ball they in your AAU? If it is the Wilson Evolution then you can buy it when it go on sale, I showed some as low as $38 (check with Walmart website, they sometime have random sale on basketball). If you don’t want to get the Evolution then Baden Elite is a good alternative for the Evolution and it’s usually cheaper than the Evolution. I know around my area the AAU league use the Nike Elite Championship, it is also a really good ball and it should last at least 6 to 7 years if you don’t use it outdoor. Lastly the newest one that feels pretty nice is the Spalding Precision, it is not as soft as the Wilson Evolution but it is nice and not too hard. The only thing about it that I don’t how durable it is because it is a newer ball. I tested it and i let other AAU players played with it and they love it.
So yeah, you got a couple options. But the main thing is to find out what ball your AAU league use the most.

Nah, it's not fake. We have the same serial number - I got mine from an official molten distributor.

moltenusa.com/bg5000/ molten’s website has them. For a while they didn’t have it. I had to buy it from a store in Malaysia but maybe at the time I bought it the balls just released and I believe certain regions received the balls first and I feel like the US got it last. Back then I even called Molten USA to see when are they going to received the ball and they similar didn’t know when.
I play outside everyday for hours what molten basketball is the best for playing outdoors on concrete for hours everyday I want one that is long lasting and great grip?
Any basketball with 70% rubber material is good for outdoor. 100% rubber doesn’t feel that nice. Nike true grip or hyper grip, spalding street phantom, spalding tf-250, under armor 395.

Eli Fitzgerald that ball made from synthetic leather so I don’t know if it can stand against concrete. So maybe it won’t last long on concrete.
I have BG4500 and all of us ballers in our area hate that ball.

outdoor basketballs: Nike/Jordan Hyper Grib or Nike true grip, spalding street phantom, Wilson solution 3x3 (the ball come in smaller size though), UA 495 (the grip won’t last that long)

Mikasa BQ1000 and Mikasa BD2000 is good balls or not?
I don’t own any mikasa, so I have no information on mikasa. I did try to get mikasa cf7700 but it is too expensive to get it ship to the US so it wasn’t worth it to get one.

@@GiorgosM145 both balls are good. Personally I like the TF-1000 Legacy better. It lasted longer than the evolution. I also like the fact that the tf-1000 legacy is being use in some professional basketball leagues.
But again you can’t go wrong with neither ball.

kirk espinosa definitely not good for outdoor. The leather on the ball will get destroy so fast. For a good outdoor ball usually has at least 70% of rubber material.

You're wrong, why did you add the bg5000 air, that's how the air is, it's a little soft when I bought the bg4500, it's a little soft, but he told me that's just the air, so it's slippery, it's too much air, it's just too much air
7 to 9 psi is what all basketballs should be. So I don’t know how much air u put into your ball. I have the digital air pumper, all my basketballs are at 8 psi.

Ieon NA so far I like the Bg5000 a lot better and I only played with it a few time. Imagine when this ball is fully broken in. It is feel lighter than the gl7x. But it took me a while to adjust to this ball. I had to lessen my shot power because a lot of time I over the basketball because this ball is light. I’m hoping in two or so I will try to do two weeks update on this ball and a full performance review in a few months.

BOB LEE its depend on where u r buying it from. Because I bought two balls from the same seller so they deflated one ball to save shipping cost. I checked already these balls r legit. But yeah u r right though. There r a lot of fake one out there especially the older models. I think soon there r going to be a lot of fake for the BG models.
If you ship it via air(plane) they are required to deflate the ball. Plane rules

Just got a brand new Molten GG7X from Amazon a week ago. I was skeptical because of all the fake replicas but it is an original. As of now I have a Wilson Evolution, The Rock C2C and ofcourse the Molten GG7X. I love all three..
