Just checked out your last video and this one popped up out of the blue. That Toshiba with HDMI? Please do a follow up on it. Would love to see what resolutions that set supports.
The story behind that grab was I was going to that area to pickup the pro monitors so I always scan marketplace for any good stuff in the area im roadtripping to, found a 36" hitachi ultravision for free that was curved screen,HD, multi format.... was excited to grab this but when I got there he already gave it away that morning but had this little hd toshiba he said I could have so took it, I was kind of upset but ended up liking the size and portability of this little HD widescreen toshiba. Ive read it can pass 1080i without processing and hoping the same can be said for 540p..... I read a comment about a setting in the service menu that will make it accept 480p as 540p so it will be cool if I can run some gamecube on it in 480p/540p without processing lag but havnt had time to even plug it in yet as I have a long list of projects and crts to work on but will update when I have time to mess with it.
Interested to see what you can do with that HD set. Might get similar results to a VGA computer crt monitor but with a big ass screen. That would be cool. Do you know if it has a Toshiba tube in it? Toshiba makes good tubes.
