A point I wanted to bring up (though I'm sure this is going to be brought up later in this episode; I just haven't gotten to it yet) is that when the North American Martyrs were evangelizing the Native Americans, they came up with a Christmas carol describing Our Lord being born in a lodge of broken bark and hunters being informed instead of shepherds. An example of evangelization in a setting that wouldn't understand the things we do (at least to that point).
His logic is not unlike that of somebody arguing that there is nothing evil about death since it is good and natural to man.whereas in fact scripture says that death is an enemy of God and is the last of the enemies to be defeated. This guy is a clueless pseud trying to sound like an intellectual.
WOW! Really? I never got that when he was doing his "pro multis" movement. What was that, 30 years ago? Of course, I lost touch with him like 20 years ago so perhaps he has embraced the Americanism heresy.
Jim saying that Islam is an Abrahamic religion exposes his utter ignorance. He also says that Judaism is an Abrahamic religion which is erroneous since it’s provenance is found in Babylon as the Talmud suggests rather that the faith of the Hebrews.
@@bubbawhisk8243 well it is well known that Islam has a lot more in common with pre-Islamic paganism belonging to the region of its origin such as the moon worshipping cults that were prevalent across the Fertile Crescent. They also never seem or want to explain why the crescent moon is found on top of their mosques. Judaism as we know it today has curiously adopted the ancient Babylonian six pointed star as their symbol. This symbol is shared by not only Freemasonry but also by the Islamic faith. Just like the crescent moon above the mosques, the reason for the six pointed star is dissembled and instead they’ll try to claim it has an Abrahamic origin which is an insult to the intelligence.
The definition of the Abrahamic religions is literally the sisterhood of the three - Christian, Muslim, Jew. That's it. You're just wrong. Trying to come up with a new definition is on par with "what is a woman". Get over yourself.
Jim's finally back! Glad to have you again!

I don’t disagree. But this seems to require a bit more nuance. Would you mind expounding?
