It handles fine. I have a Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum with a 8" barrel. My brother has a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum with a 6" barrel. As long as you don't install an 'off market" conversion, you will just fine. The owner at the shooting range was telling us that there is a big market for "knock off" parts that will get you killed real quick.
@@thomasoaxaca3379 this is a black powder revolver fitted with a cartridge conversion cylinder, any magnum load in it would most likely result in a catastrophic failure as it is intended for black powder or standard pressure loads with the cartridge converter
The entire gun will explode in half. This is a BLACK POWDER revolver which fires a lead ball that has the energy less than that of a common 9x19mm/9mm round
Don’t ever put .44 magnum rounds in a .45 colt revolver. Absolutely a recipe for disaster. Plus, the description states .357 magnum conversion to .44 .45 ?? That is impossible! No way a .429” or a .451” bullet will fit down a .357” bore. That gun will blow up.
Well.....first off, 44 mag bullet diameter is .429. 45 colt( modern) is .452. The case buddy diameter is quite different also. This is an overall bad idea and highly unsafe
Yes, for now. Wait until ATF figures out that these "non firearms" can be adapted to shoot modern cartridges, then they will make a 'rule' with the force of law. That tactic is working for the pistol braces, among other infringements.
If bad ideas were an Olympic sport, this would be a front runner a gold medal.
How to make a 44 mag hand grenade. Stick to .45 colt cowboy loads with this one.
You should probably stop posting these videos before someone gets hurt because you want views, 44 mag in that thing will turn it to shrapnel
Best comment. BAD idea. Some lamebrain's going to try this and get hurt, or worse.
@@bruceparker9353 exactly!
Patiently waiting for the part 2 with my eye and ear pro on
That frame is not built
for full power smokeless calibers
I don’t want to see part two to this. The only thing in those conversion cylinders should be 45 Long colt cowboy rounds for safety reasons. Be safe!
It would be interesting to see how the gun would handle with those 44 mag loads. Be safe sir!

I waited patiently through this magic act that you performed hoping I would see the gunfire. Sorely disappointed😢
So you pointed the gun back at yourself after you loaded it at half cock. 😳

44 mags in that gun is a baaaaaad idea.
The conversion cylinders aren’t made for those pressures/velocities. Not too smart

Never put a 44 mag into a 45 colt, a black powder conversion should only handle cowboy loads in the appropriate caliber, this is a hand grenade!
Terrible idea!! Will break frame 😂
Прикольная идея! Че, а так можно было?
.44 Mag. 240 grain.
Ouch!
I think you can buy these and get them shipped to your house cant you?

@@JM-lk6wo true, the ATF sucks.
What about if you use 44 spl will those work on this conversion?
So is the 45 Colt 250 gr jhp ok for this particular Gun?
No! Lead bullets only and 900 fps max velocity is what it’s designed for
Terrible ammo
Where can you buy them from please sir
What a sissy, wearing gloves. Man up.
Probably to protect the finish of the gun.
i dont know about you man but if i rub my shiny revolver with all the oils on my skin itll look a little less shiny when im done.. just a thought
Woah we got a tough guy
Wow that's a hell of a revolver right there 👍👍👍
