Hi Jumper Man. Enjoy your videos. In this one, I noticed you did not change the drain spout on the reservoir to the clean position. There is one screw to remove, then you turn the spout down and reinstall the set screw. This allows the reservoir to drain completely when the reservoir swings down in the harvest position. It really helps to flush out things and helps to prevent contamination of the first few batches of ice. If you don't do this the reservoir remains partially filled with your cleaning/sanitizing liquid.
That was so awesome earlier!! Seriously, it got me hyped 😂 It was great to see you. You been an active supporter of the channel. Very much appreciated 🙏 God bless🔧⚡️
Very interesting video. I always enjoy your videos. Got a question, is it a good idea to blow dust around the kitchen like that? Keep making them and I’ll keep watching them. Be safe lefty.
Everyone does things differently. When I do coil cleanings for ice machines I do the same procedure but instead of blowing it out with air, I get everything wet using a non-acid coil cleaner.. let that sit for a bit as it works itself into the coils and loosens any debris then spray down with warm water. Run a small vacuum immediately which will suck up dirty water instead of dust. The coil cleaner gives additional layer of protection to coils to help prevent dust from sticking easily.
Put some plumbers grease on the filter o- ring , it works wonders on removing. You also might want to upsell a scale inhibitor filter.. just saying. As always another great video!! Happy New Year 🎉
sHoshizaki's answer to Kolddraft ice makers. If Hoshizakii is still using stainless steel on the evaporators you don't need nickel safe cleaner. Just use Hoshizaki cleaner.
The KM series haven't changed much, still water hogs. The machine in vid has a nickel coated evap. AND WHY DO THEY HAVE THE LEDS NUMBERED LIKE THAT in the KM series?. I even asked tech support and he laughed and couldn't answer, lol.
