Dee Wallace is a Hollywood gem, she’s part of so many of our childhoods and her presence is so warm and loving
Dee Wallace is a criminally underrated actress. Her performance in Cujo was just incredible 🥰👍🏿

Loved her in Jimmy The Kid.
She deserved a standing ovation! Loved all her movies.
I’ve heard she’s a delightfully warm person to meet in person.
I never get tired of seeing Drew reconnect with her acting friends. You can tell she's a really lovely person to work with.
I'd love to see her do one of these with David Keith and Heather Locklear, her on screen parents from "Firestarter"
Her bk is great too
Not acting friends, acting family❤!!
She seems really tender hearted & genuine.
I don't care for it. It's snobby, Self-absorbed. I don't care for watching a celebrity with her self-centered actor friends. Let's see her talk to real people. I miss old Hollywood.
If you've never met Dee Wallace, she is nothing but a heart of gold. What you see is what you get! I just love her!
I agree. Met her with my mom 10 years ago and she was/is awesome!
@@werdup9105 Oh that's wonderful! We met her in 2017 at Texas Frightmare Weekend.
I loved this!
Pertaining to Dee's new book...I do not have free time to read but I wonder if DEE has youtube short videos on her self love advice?
She's great met her at a convention after the frighteners was out so nice sweet lie a normal person
She is! Met her at Monsterpalooza. She's a angel!
This is EVERYTHING! The look on Drew's face is priceless! What a wonderful and sweet surprise for her!!!
When on her B day show, Steven Spielberg was on, she was in tears... Her heart is ever big. Many reasons why I crush on her so much
@@exodia1510 Absolutely, Drew has a heart of gold she's beautiful inside and out.
Drew's face always looks Priceless no matter who comes on the show and she hugs everybody I'm surprised she hasn't got covid

I worked with Dee Wallace in a B- Movie in the 90s. Walked up to me on my first day on the set (They were a few weeks into production) and introduced herself. A VERY nice person.
I was just Production Assistant. Lowest on the totem pole
The most behind the scenes stuff of her I've seen has been from the rob zombie movies she's done (and e t ofc) and she seems to be a blast to be around, very down to earth
COOL!! x
It doesn't matter what job you had on the movie set. Your job was important too 😊. You're still part of the process that creates the movie. Apparently, Dee was a down to earth woman and thank goodness for that. You were very fortunate to get to work with her.
@@j.a.whittler6983 ❤❤❤
OMG! This woman is ageless. The years have loved Dee.
Plastic surgery
I agree! She still looks good!
Yeah botox does wonders.
Dee Wallace is a very underrated actress. She should have won an Oscar for Cujo.
The Howling, The Frighteners, ET....Etc, she does not phone it in.
She made a hot werewolf fer sure, she could bite me anyday!
Agreed
She also played as Monroe's mother and Bart's wife, Alice, who is exactly like her son and her husband: Blutbad from the TV show called Grimm.
I loved her in the Freighteners. My favorite Michael J Fox film.
Really loved her in Popcorn
Now if Drew can have Henry Thomas on her show for a sister/brother reunion.
She did
My favorite Dee Wallace moment in ET is the shriek when she sees the kids in their costumes. 😂
My favorite childhood movie. Now as an adult I cry every time I watch ET.
Same. First movie I saw in the theater. I am 43 now and the ending still makes me cry. Not ashamed to admit that at all. This was such a huge movie and just always brings me back to my childhood when I watch it.
@@Peppers19781978 " E.T. phone home. "
Facts!! Me too! I watched it in the theater for the first time and I cried at the end. I was not born when it originally came out and I watched it growing up, but watching it in the theater was like watching it for the first time and WOW!!! WHAT A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET!!💙
My best friend devised a scheme for us to get out of work to see the premiere showing. We were about 30! I thought she'd lost her mind dragging me to a kiddie show and maybe get us fired.😂😂😅
But all went well and we cried when ET was dying. Never saw it again.
Me too!!!❤❤❤😢😢
Oh this warms my heart ❤️!!! I have always admired Dee Wallace and to see her just exude as much love for Drew as Drew feels for her was absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and truthful moment ☺️
One precious moment. So glad that they reunited after all these years and talking about the meomies they made together working on the film. I LOVE the look on Drew's face. She was definitely surprised ! 😁
Dee Wallace is a freaken great actress and she still looks great!
Oh the memories. I'm older too now. I'm 57, going to be 58 in October. Thanks for having Dee Wallace on. You guys really warmed my heart. 18, at the most! Gosh what happened Drew, time just flys by.
Dee Wallace is such a wonderful and talented lady, just love her and this moment was so precious!
What a sweet story of S Spielberg keeping ET manned so little Drew could always talk to him. So sweet🥰
I don't think I've ever seen a celebrity to be so emotionally open about EVERYTHING! Drew is so authentic and transparent and open ❤️❤️❤️
Yes. She is such a vulnerable person that nobody wants to hurt her. It's as if she would desolve if she were hurt one more time.
Dee Wallace, such a legend ❤️❤️her🙏🏾
Wow! Dee Wallace hasn't aged! Amazing!
Love Dee Wallace, been watching her for 40 years. Love Drew too
The look on Dee's face when Drew's talking... That look that says you've been through it all and you've come out the other side stronger than ever and blossomed into a beautiful lady.
That was awesome. I was smiling through this whole segment!
I loved this!! ❤ I need more of these two, more ET behind the scenes stories ❤
We Have Interviewed Dee Wallace She Is A First Class Person To Work With Or To Know And She Is Very Talented Thank You For Sharing
I have had the pleasure of meeting Dee several times and every time she was constantly warm, funny and infectious. Someone you can't help but want to be around.
When I heard the 40th anniversary of E.T., my heart just dropped!!! It doesn't seem real that it's now 40 years old!!! I'm getting OLD!!! 😭😭😭
I know right ! I was 13 years old when it first came out in Theaters in 1982.
Aren't we lucky!!
Dee was my Aunt's college roomate. She was "DeeDee" in those days. I was about 11 years old and got to go stay with my Aunt for the weekend. My Aunt had to go out for an hour or two, so DeeDee stayed with me. She taught me how to play a card game called "Oh Hell" and I had fun, but was very concerned because I was not allowed to say the word "hell"! LOL Its a really good memory.
She looks fabulous! I haven't seen her in so long. What a special moment.
Drew still has that "little girl" face. And i also like her lisp. It makes her look even cuter! Ive always been a fan. Now Dee Wallace, she was also in the Halloween movie franchise.
Dee Wallace is the Best! Outstanding Actress & such a beautiful soul.
I can’t believe it’s been 40-years since E.T. was released! It’s still the best popular live-action film in the world!
Dee is a timeless beauty. She does not age!
Dee Wallace - one of the OG Scream Queens.
I really do love Drew Barrymore's show whenever I can see it. She shares such positive messages.
Dee Wallace looks incredible. So glad she could join you on your show.
Omg this is so special! Dee is the best!
That was amazing. I almost started crying. I was 18 when when I saw E.T. In the theater and I remember it 40 years later so well because of the emotion I felt in that scene when he dies , then comes back, and the scene where he goes home…whew 🥺😭
Love love love Dee Wallace she looks Amazing!!♥️🛸🛸🛸
Anybody who has anything negative to say about Dee Wallace has clearly never seen, met or heard of Dee Wallace. She’s truly incredible
Y would anyone say anything about her ?
This is awesome! 40 years! Still one of my favorite movies.😊
I loved Dee Wallace Stone in all of her movies 🎬
She was really great in Cujo. A scary movie 🎬
Dee was the diva of the 1980s.
Adore Dee Wallace 😍
She looks AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. Time has been great to her.
I was 11 when it came out. Now I’m 50. Enjoy it people because life moves fast.
I saw ET in the theater when it came out. My Mom took me (my Mom was like Woah). Great movie and a great childhood memory.
It’s fun to believe how Dee could have starred in so many horror movies, B-movies, sci-fi/horrors, slashers, violent hardcore bloody movies, and yet can be a happy-go-lucky blonde with a heart of gold, with an infectious humor and a warm presence with big humility. Dee became everyone’s mom in “E.T.” , her performance is so iconic & timeless, she embodied not only the American mom, but a worlwide mom we all kids, any age and from every country, loved her instantly. Dee Wallace is an American, national treasure.
I stan Drew so much for this.
Knowing that Dee isn’t very much in the limelight anymore, this is crazy touching!❤️
I love Dee’s horror work and her work on E.T.✊🏻
@Odds and Ends Wish I could meet her one day!
I looooooove Dee Wallace...always have! She looks GREAT!
Dee looks great
What a true gift Dee is. The set stories from the past are much better than today. Just like the movies themselves. A lot of warm-hearted and funny stories between Dee and Drew. Thank you for sharing this moment!
I have always loved Dee Wallace! Great clip! 👍🏽♥️
She used to play a well-known 1983 movie titled "cujo". I'm so glad to see her because she is still healthy and still looks really fresh. Credit to dreq barrymore who used to played 1996 movie titled "scream"
It time to watch ET!!! She was so cute. It’s so funny when she reminisced with actors she worked with as a child. They all quoted her “I know ___do you think I’m stupid?” 😂😂😂
I need Reese's Pieces and 🍿when watching E.T.😊
Now drew can share the same book with her daughters!
I met Dee at a fan convention and she’s incredible
What a charming segment. Love Drew so much.
I loved the mom. So relatable now as a 36 year old. Yelling at your kids while also trying to stifle laughter is a mood
This was great. ET came out after my 9th birthday. My nephew is turning 9 next week. Hopefully he’ll get to see it soon.
As much as I enjoy Drew, I will never get past the special people hugging and breathing in each other's face while the audience, the peons, must wear masks.
E.T. was the first movie I saw in the theater. I am 43 now. 40 years later it remains my favorite movie and I will admit the ending makes me tear up every time I watch it. I think I can speak for most young boys who first saw this that we all wanted to be Elliot. Drew was my first little childhood crush. I met Dee years ago. So amazingly nice. I jokingly asked her for Drew's number. She said if she had it she would hook me up. Of course she wasn't being serious but hey, a guy can dream right. I would love a full E.T. reunion on Drew's show. They have done it for past anniversaries, for some cons (minus Drew, Spielberg etc) but this is the big 40. You can also tell each time they come together how imporant this movie was to all of them.
Omg I love this woman she was everyone’s mom after ET and she looks incredible. It warms my heart to see her again ❤
That made my day!😊
What a great segment! I’ve always loved Dee Wallace and she hasn’t disappointed.
Lovely memories.
Dee looks so great! 👏👏👏
Dee looks so great. She looks like she's hardly aged.
I love Dee Wallace! She has always been gorgeous! And, her movies are classics.
I was 10 years old when I saw ET. Love that movie! Drew was so and still is stinking cute!
I LOVE Dee Wallace! I met her in real life and was able to converse with her about things! She was a VERY nice person and sweet as can be! It was UNREAL meeting her as far as I'm concerned! I real "life" moment for me as I am SO obsessed with "E.T." and of course work she has done besides that such as "Cujo".
Leave it to your Mom to tell you how dramatic you were as a kid! ❤️ “E.T.” is 40 years old! 😲
I love them both so much! Legends! 👍😃❤️🥀💓🌷🌹
Love Dee, and this reminds us all that Drew is still the cutest thing in Hollywood!
I can't they didn't mention " CUJO " . one of Dee's iconic films . scary as a kid.
My heart is bursting. Having watched this and the clip with Steven Spielberg, it’s no wonder E.T. was such a powerful film.
Dee Wallace is a great actress! What a treat to see her and Drew together again. Fantastic!
This is so cute I remember bawling my eyes out in the movie theater when ET died ! Such a great movie !❤ Drew totally believed ET was real she was only 6 but we all wanted too believe in that cute little ailen ! Congrats too all the cast members for 40 years of magic!
She’s adorable and always has been. she wanted him to have a friend and not be alone so she ate with him 😭
I LOVE DEE WALLACE !!!! she is pure kindness. loved seeing the 2 of you chat, and spend time together.
this is very touching. The ridiculous looking audience wearing the weird yellow masks is the 1 thing I cringe at. Looks like a clown show in the audience. Other than that, This was maybe the best episode to date.
Agree!
Dee Wallace was in three of my favorite movies. E.T, Cujo and Critters.
This was so great because you could see how much they love and respect each other. Love this
Like I said before you and Dee need to do another with Henry Thomas where you play hippies.
Henrys always best as the straight man or the bad guy.. Can't really see him as a hippie
The movie should also feature Daniel Kuluuya, Seth MacFarlane, Peter Weller, Mila Kunis, Jason Ritter, Jason Lee, Kurtwood Smith, Michael B. Jordan, Jim Parson, Liszt Greene, Zelda Williams, Scott Grimes, Topher Grace, Simon Helberg, Jeremy Roxley, Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, Reed Alexander, Sean Hayes, Sean Astin, Paulie Shore, Chris Parnell, Max Charles, Rob Paulsen, Isaac Ryan Brown, Sam Lavagnino, Raven Symone, Sara Gilbert, John Goodman, Sarah Clarke, Steve Buscemi, Kelly Clarkson, Tom Hanks, Colin Hanks, Haley Joel Osment, Selena Gomez, Adam Sandler, Keanu Reeves, Frank Oz, Bill Hader, Beck Bennett, Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Ed O'Neil, Noel MacNeal, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Muccici, David Tentant, Tara Strong, Grey DeLisie Griffith, Roger Craig Smith, Patton Oswald and Amy Poehlar as co-stars.
Drew should have a reunion with all of ET cast and any staff of the movie. It would need an hour or 2 of her show!
She did
it makes me emotional hearing about all the love drew barrymore received on E.T., especially when you consider her home life
It's hard believe Dee is 73 😱 Hope to look as good as she does as I get older. That's goals right there!
My mom took me and my little sister to see E.T. in theaters and during the his death scene, everybody, even grown men, were crying.
I love how everyone in Hollywood is friends with Drew haha
I remember going to see ET at the theater when I was also 7 years old❤️
Dee is an icon!!!
Wow Dee Wallace looks amazing. E.T was one of my favorite 80s movies. Drew was so adorable in that movie. Drew looks fabulous. God bless
Very sweet moment. How can you not love Drew? I wish she was my friend. The girl/ woman has a huge heart and spreads joy! You felt it from day one!💛A fan in me baby!
Cried my eyes out when I watched ET....still do when they find him in the woods😢....love seeing the 2 of you together💗
OMG her throwing you under the bus was SO DELICOUS! LOLOLOLOLOL
What a wonderful, and surprising moment for Drew, her face lights up the moment Dee comes on the stage and you can just see it in Drew's eyes and smile she's in Awwwww the whole entire time she's talking and just remembering everything from E.T. Drew was so happy and excited. I am so happy that Dee came on to surprise Drew. Dee is amazing.
Love you lots Drew ! So happy for you.
I can't believe that it's been 40 years since E.T. came out, time flies.
Had they ever thinking to tell Steven Spielberg to remake E.T. part 2 the return of the alien or just E.T. return to earth ???? 🤔
Petition for Dee to be in Stranger Things!
Loved Dee when she co starred on Supernatural!!! Her character was soooo adorable!!!!!
This is adorable. I can’t believe it was 40 years ago
What is with those masks?? Ridiculous.
Same age as Drew, and I’ve been in love with her for nearly 40 years!! Such a sweetheart
One of my favourite sayings “ Don’t be too hard on yourself, the mom in ET had an alien living in her house for days and didn’t notice”. As a young mom back then I noticed she didn’t realize something was going on. That was one distracted & busy mom!
Ikr. She was going through a divorce and had the kids and had to work. This circumstance was prolly created to account for it
This was awesome, that movie will never be forgotten ❤️
