I don't care for it. It's snobby, Self-absorbed. I don't care for watching a celebrity with her self-centered actor friends. Let's see her talk to real people. I miss old Hollywood.
I worked with Dee Wallace in a B- Movie in the 90s. Walked up to me on my first day on the set (They were a few weeks into production) and introduced herself. A VERY nice person. I was just Production Assistant. Lowest on the totem pole
The most behind the scenes stuff of her I've seen has been from the rob zombie movies she's done (and e t ofc) and she seems to be a blast to be around, very down to earth
It doesn't matter what job you had on the movie set. Your job was important too 😊. You're still part of the process that creates the movie. Apparently, Dee was a down to earth woman and thank goodness for that. You were very fortunate to get to work with her.
Same. First movie I saw in the theater. I am 43 now and the ending still makes me cry. Not ashamed to admit that at all. This was such a huge movie and just always brings me back to my childhood when I watch it.
Facts!! Me too! I watched it in the theater for the first time and I cried at the end. I was not born when it originally came out and I watched it growing up, but watching it in the theater was like watching it for the first time and WOW!!! WHAT A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET!!💙
My best friend devised a scheme for us to get out of work to see the premiere showing. We were about 30! I thought she'd lost her mind dragging me to a kiddie show and maybe get us fired.😂😂😅 But all went well and we cried when ET was dying. Never saw it again.
The look on Dee's face when Drew's talking... That look that says you've been through it all and you've come out the other side stronger than ever and blossomed into a beautiful lady.
Drew still has that "little girl" face. And i also like her lisp. It makes her look even cuter! Ive always been a fan. Now Dee Wallace, she was also in the Halloween movie franchise.
It’s fun to believe how Dee could have starred in so many horror movies, B-movies, sci-fi/horrors, slashers, violent hardcore bloody movies, and yet can be a happy-go-lucky blonde with a heart of gold, with an infectious humor and a warm presence with big humility. Dee became everyone’s mom in “E.T.” , her performance is so iconic & timeless, she embodied not only the American mom, but a worlwide mom we all kids, any age and from every country, loved her instantly. Dee Wallace is an American, national treasure.
Dee was my Aunt's college roomate. She was "DeeDee" in those days. I was about 11 years old and got to go stay with my Aunt for the weekend. My Aunt had to go out for an hour or two, so DeeDee stayed with me. She taught me how to play a card game called "Oh Hell" and I had fun, but was very concerned because I was not allowed to say the word "hell"! LOL Its a really good memory.
Oh the memories. I'm older too now. I'm 57, going to be 58 in October. Thanks for having Dee Wallace on. You guys really warmed my heart. 18, at the most! Gosh what happened Drew, time just flys by.
One precious moment. So glad that they reunited after all these years and talking about the meomies they made together working on the film. I LOVE the look on Drew's face. She was definitely surprised ! 😁
I have had the pleasure of meeting Dee several times and every time she was constantly warm, funny and infectious. Someone you can't help but want to be around.
I stan Drew so much for this. Knowing that Dee isn’t very much in the limelight anymore, this is crazy touching!❤️ I love Dee’s horror work and her work on E.T.✊🏻
That was amazing. I almost started crying. I was 18 when when I saw E.T. In the theater and I remember it 40 years later so well because of the emotion I felt in that scene when he dies , then comes back, and the scene where he goes home…whew 🥺😭
Oh this warms my heart ❤️!!! I have always admired Dee Wallace and to see her just exude as much love for Drew as Drew feels for her was absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and truthful moment ☺️
What a true gift Dee is. The set stories from the past are much better than today. Just like the movies themselves. A lot of warm-hearted and funny stories between Dee and Drew. Thank you for sharing this moment!
I LOVE Dee Wallace! I met her in real life and was able to converse with her about things! She was a VERY nice person and sweet as can be! It was UNREAL meeting her as far as I'm concerned! I real "life" moment for me as I am SO obsessed with "E.T." and of course work she has done besides that such as "Cujo".
Dee Wallace was in three of my favorite movies. E.T, Cujo and Critters. This was so great because you could see how much they love and respect each other. Love this
E.T. was the first movie I saw in the theater. I am 43 now. 40 years later it remains my favorite movie and I will admit the ending makes me tear up every time I watch it. I think I can speak for most young boys who first saw this that we all wanted to be Elliot. Drew was my first little childhood crush. I met Dee years ago. So amazingly nice. I jokingly asked her for Drew's number. She said if she had it she would hook me up. Of course she wasn't being serious but hey, a guy can dream right. I would love a full E.T. reunion on Drew's show. They have done it for past anniversaries, for some cons (minus Drew, Spielberg etc) but this is the big 40. You can also tell each time they come together how imporant this movie was to all of them.
What a wonderful, and surprising moment for Drew, her face lights up the moment Dee comes on the stage and you can just see it in Drew's eyes and smile she's in Awwwww the whole entire time she's talking and just remembering everything from E.T. Drew was so happy and excited. I am so happy that Dee came on to surprise Drew. Dee is amazing. Love you lots Drew ! So happy for you. I can't believe that it's been 40 years since E.T. came out, time flies.
Very sweet moment. How can you not love Drew? I wish she was my friend. The girl/ woman has a huge heart and spreads joy! You felt it from day one!💛A fan in me baby!
It’s crazy how long drew has been in the industry when you think about it. She was a literal baby. She’s working with nearly everyone and did so many iconic movies. And I have been watching the howling so it’s great to see dee. She looks pretty much the same. What a lovely moment
It time to watch ET!!! She was so cute. It’s so funny when she reminisced with actors she worked with as a child. They all quoted her “I know ___do you think I’m stupid?” 😂😂😂
She used to play a well-known 1983 movie titled "cujo". I'm so glad to see her because she is still healthy and still looks really fresh. Credit to dreq barrymore who used to played 1996 movie titled "scream"
ET was the first movie I saw in the theater as a kid, and it's still my favorite movie of all-time. It's amazing how much humanity can be found in a movie about an extraterrestrial.
This was a pleasure!! Love the movie and I love seeing actors get together years later ❤️. I really enjoy looking at the cast photos from back then too!
Dee Wallace is a Hollywood gem, she’s part of so many of our childhoods and her presence is so warm and loving
Dee Wallace is a criminally underrated actress. Her performance in Cujo was just incredible 🥰👍🏿

Loved her in Jimmy The Kid.
She deserved a standing ovation! Loved all her movies.
I’ve heard she’s a delightfully warm person to meet in person.
I never get tired of seeing Drew reconnect with her acting friends. You can tell she's a really lovely person to work with.
I'd love to see her do one of these with David Keith and Heather Locklear, her on screen parents from "Firestarter"
Her bk is great too
Not acting friends, acting family❤!!
She seems really tender hearted & genuine.

I agree. Met her with my mom 10 years ago and she was/is awesome!
@@werdup9105 Oh that's wonderful! We met her in 2017 at Texas Frightmare Weekend.
I loved this!
Pertaining to Dee's new book...I do not have free time to read but I wonder if DEE has youtube short videos on her self love advice?
She's great met her at a convention after the frighteners was out so nice sweet lie a normal person
She is! Met her at Monsterpalooza. She's a angel!
This is EVERYTHING! The look on Drew's face is priceless! What a wonderful and sweet surprise for her!!!
When on her B day show, Steven Spielberg was on, she was in tears... Her heart is ever big. Many reasons why I crush on her so much

OMG! This woman is ageless. The years have loved Dee.
Plastic surgery
I agree! She still looks good!
Yeah botox does wonders.
Dee Wallace is a very underrated actress. She should have won an Oscar for Cujo.
The Howling, The Frighteners, ET....Etc, she does not phone it in.
She made a hot werewolf fer sure, she could bite me anyday!
Agreed
She also played as Monroe's mother and Bart's wife, Alice, who is exactly like her son and her husband: Blutbad from the TV show called Grimm.
I loved her in the Freighteners. My favorite Michael J Fox film.
Really loved her in Popcorn

My favorite Dee Wallace moment in ET is the shriek when she sees the kids in their costumes. 😂
it makes me emotional hearing about all the love drew barrymore received on E.T., especially when you consider her home life
My favorite childhood movie. Now as an adult I cry every time I watch ET.

What a sweet story of S Spielberg keeping ET manned so little Drew could always talk to him. So sweet🥰
I don't think I've ever seen a celebrity to be so emotionally open about EVERYTHING! Drew is so authentic and transparent and open ❤️❤️❤️
Yes. She is such a vulnerable person that nobody wants to hurt her. It's as if she would desolve if she were hurt one more time.
