Fr if ur wasn’t for the queen this show wouldn’t even exist the whole show is basically a love letter to the queen and how she handles the thrown through out her life.
claire foy accepting a golden globe: please wrap up - yeah, i'm on it. olivia colman accepting an oscar: oh, please wrap up - *blows rasberry and flips off camera* MY QUEENS
@@michaelfarias4901 yes she will but only as a flashback of the young queen, during her first speech. Well better than nothing, i really miss her S3 without her.... 😪
I was also sad that the OG cast left, but the stories also started to shift to the Charles-Diana so I didn’t really mind after awhile. The focus went to different characters already
well that’s ridiculous because Olivia Colman is one of the greats living actors today, and she was utterly brilliant. and they had to age the characters. that was always the plan and there was no other viable way to do it but to recast every two seasons. if you haven’t seen Season 4, you need to, because it’s the best season of the show yet. it’s so good that it makes all the other seasons skippable.
Claire Foy faves of mine ‘The Crown’ and ‘The promise’ (2011, in The Promise she is even more amazing and a fantastic story - the story of a young woman who goes to present-day Israel and Palestine determined to find out about her soldier grandfather's involvement in the final years of Palestine under the British mandate !!! Highly recommend !!!! 🏆
Directors and the camera crew normally have a heads up on who wins that night so that they could prepare on how to capture the moment perfectly. It’s funny that they didnt anticipate the audience on the winner’s table to stand up when they announced the winner. Now because of poor camera positionimg, only those beside claire must’ve seen her humble and sweet reaction that we were deprived off seeing. Ugh!
I think the "drama queen" and "queen of drama" was already foreshadowing by those 2. Like, they are talking about queens and who wins? The actress that portraits Queen Elizabeth. Not even a fictional character, an IRL monarch and head of state. Yes, former but her body is still real. And the stuff she achieved
'The Crown' should reflect reality. King Charles III's first marriage was a tragic mistake, yet monarchy shouldn't be used as real-life soap opera. The achievement of the British monarchy should become clear in comparison with the histories of other countries. In the 19th & 20th centuries the U.S.A, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered in various ways civil wars, political storms, and dictatorships. This shows what can go wrong in the absence of a head of state which is above politics, and which opposes illegal dictatorship. If there are many reasons England, Wales, and Scotland have had no civil war since Culloden in 1746, having a constitutional monarchy to unify all the people is an important reason. In the UK, 'peace' in formal speech is "The King's Peace". Of course Prince Philip could be tactless; he & Elizabeth II made mistakes as parents. Whatever mistakes the royal family have made, let us be grateful for the unity the monarchy gives in the UK & the world. By stabilizing Britain & the commonwealth (e.g. Canada & Australia), it promotes peace in the world. The sea around it didn't protect the U.S.A. against civil war in the 1860s, and the UK could have suffered civil war over slavery in the 19th century; likewise over world war, loss of empire, economic failure, or race in the 20th. There will always be violence and political problems in the world, and billions of people who know or understand nothing of the British monarchy and the stability it brings. Since the 1700s, billions of people have lived under the British crown without civil war, lynching, dictatorship in their lives. God save King Charles III, and his successors.
Thats a good question. Claire for sure was the star of the show and won all awards, well deserved. But Matt and Vanessa for example they never, in 2 seasons got nominations to golden globes or SAG and the new cast in the first season they got... Im not saying they dont deserve. Im just saying that Matt and Vanessa also deserved more attention and awards for their roles on the show. Specially Vanessa Kirby.
"The crown must win. Must always win."
Yup Always Win !
Queen Mary!! YES!!!
Amazing

Claire Foy is the most adorable actress I’ve ever seen to be honest. She is so cute and beautiful. Can’t wait to see her again on season 4.
Oh yes i couldnt agree more! ❤ She is 100% lovely its impossible watch the crown and dont love the young queen Lilibet 😍 Claire is awesome.
will she be back on season 4?????????????????

@@michaelfarias4901 i hope she back soon to TV or cinema
John Lithgow looking like a proud dad at 2:04 😍😍😍
he was stunning as sir winston churchill
She was sat next to Gillian Anderson! Some foreshadowing there by the seating managers.
Actually, I realised afterwards Gillian Anderson is Married to the Crown's writer!
@@WelshBathBoy ohhhhh no wonder. I noticed that watching that too!!
Vanessa Kirby became very close with her as they shared a dressing room performing a streetcar named desire
Claire must have really worked hard to shed her Northern English accent to take on E II way of speaking! So talented and beautiful!
claire foy mentioning matt smith when she wins awards>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
She is gorgeous, really stands out from the crowd
1:03 the cameramen really butchered that reaction shot
Also 0:32 Claire foy she was making a humility face and he immediately cut.
She reminds me of Emilia Clarke, I don’t know why. I am binge watching this series btw it is just amazing !!
they both share vanessa kirby in common the crown and me before you
Yes. Emilia clarke, emily blunt and claire foy kinda sound the same.
SAME
Your Majesty.
2:03 He is looking at her SO PROUD and then SO THANKFULLY!
I love how she almost runs lmao
ok but why does she rly remind me of emily blunt in many ways
Because Emily is gourgeous as well
yes like a younger emily lmaoo i see that too
I love Claire Foy in The Crown. I did not know Winona Ryder was nominated. I love Stranger Things.
Winona is stunning!
Claire foy deserved it !!!!! she is the best actress specially Drama actress she is an idol !
The way John Lithgow looks at her like a proud parent is just so adorable 🥹
The Crown is SUCH an amazing show. Disappointed when they changed characters though
i thought they supposed to change them because the age period.. u cant expect queen elizabeth ii to be young forever right?
I was also sad that the OG cast left, but the stories also started to shift to the Charles-Diana so I didn’t really mind after awhile. The focus went to different characters already

@@sethd6485 Claire's Elizabeth was the best tho and they could have aged her as they often do in movies.
Do you mean actors?
"We love the queens of drama" clever
She's gorgeous! All the casts are fantastic.
She absolutely Nailed that role...probably ruined it for everyone else afterwards
Yep she still is the strong face and name of the show. ♥️
But my eyes is focused on Gillian Anderson! She's stunning! Congrats Claire, well-deserved win!
I like her hair
holy shit, for the best drama TV , the competition was fierce!
That music while winners are making a speech is....
Omg i love her 😍😍😍😍 Claire you are the best

I absolutely love Claire Foy as the queen 👸❤️👑 and Matt smith as prince philip

So sad when they recasted
Ray 11 Well Olivia Colman is the best we could have hoped for to replace Claire Foy
She’ll be back in season 4 actually confirmed.
@@The_Primary_Axiom no😹
@@DizzyIz I didn’t say she was going to star in season 4. But she is in season 4. Making cameos and bridging time lines.
The show would be nonsense if they had a 34 (at the time) playing the role of a 45/55 one :/ plus claire foy looks younger than her actual age.
Would've loved to see Winona win but i know Claire was great on The Crown
👑❤️🙌
Peter Morgan wrote such a fabulous story of the queen but could not say a few words on the stage about the queen.
Awesome Queening...
With due respect to the lengendary Olivia Coleman... Claire Foy will always be Queen Elizabeth for me 💗💗❤️
So cutee
"its really nice", i love british ppl thats so funny
I love how they’re talking about “Drama queens”, and then the actress who plays the Queen actually win 😂
I think they made it on purposes😂
She was a relative unknown but portrayed the Queen the best. Wish they had stuck with lesser known but more on point actresses.

Churchill is very proud to the Queen. 😅

Was that Gilian Anderson sitting beside Claire Foy? If its her, then it must be a sign of who will have the award this year.
Apparently she’s wife of the writer of the crown
Season 1 ,2 cast is very good in the crown
Keri Russell was like "yeah right as if I could win when Claire is here" 💗
Because of her i started loving the real queen Elizabeth!!
0:37 eyyyy Milo Ventimiglia on the right
Did they seriously start playing music in the middle of the speech😒
English accent is always so chic
is that gillian anderson in white?
Yes, she and Peter Morgan have been together since a couple of years ago
Was not even a competition here.
I wanted the shoplifter to win
Why is gillian Anderson at the table at that time?
Because she was dating Peter Morgan. She was his partner. Now i believe they are only friends.
So they cut off their speech, but have time to blather all their hyperbole in their promos.
And now she will win the Oscar for woman talking!
I'm sorry Claire. You lost against the Queen though.
Is that Gillian Anderson at the table?!
Yep 😉
