If that couple didn't take him under their house, would this guy be where he is now? I don't understand, seems like he got a better life. Does he just want more?
If what he's saying is true then they would have to sign all his football contracts. Did they? He forgets "his" story is their story too. They took him in and helped him get where he is. He doesn't live in a bubble. Something smells fishy here. What are his current finances? Why did he back the movie for so long? Why now?
Didn't they say right in the movie that 'since he's almost 18, it didn't make sense to adopt him but they could become his legal guardian'? But if that's what they actually did, then I hope he takes them to the cleaners & they'll have nobody to blame but themselves.
