We've got the same Ocean Ferrys in Alaska, USA. I've had many 3 days travel out the Aleutian Chain Islands. I work in clinics doing medical care for 6 months each of 6 Islands.
When I saw the two paintings at 19:34, I could easily see the American influence of them, especially the one on the right. They looked typical of Californian scenery, though I see that they were painted in Scotland.
At each visit, my surprise is reinforced re your grubby wx. It's our (US) gulf stream destination, having picked up tons of moisture. The surprise part is why you haven't attacked and colonised Spain, seeking better wx. However, I love you just the same.
The older shows are an absolute delight. The quality of the wares is quite astounding.
The little elderly lady with the Santa sweets box looked a lot like my Grandma, adorable little lady.
