I love watching these old Antique’s Roadshow episodes. I’m especially excited when one includes Henry Sandon. He’s one of my all time favorite appraisers. His 80th birthday celebration on this episode was a rare treat. So sad he has died.
That man did a great rip playing the theme song for Antiques Roadshow. 😎 I'm thinking he didn't have a bunch of time to have practiced. And it was TELEVISED !!!
Great moment w/ Henry,, may he rest in peace!

Beautiful. I wish I could have a library like that. My books are in the attic and boxes under beds and a few bookcases.
Henry was the BOMB. What a lovely fellow!
Would have liked to linger over the collections. but probably would have taken the whole show. Thank you I enjoyed this very much.
The glass vase commemorate the Husqvarna company. 1903 was their first motorcycle produced, so probably celebrating this.

I think the drawings of sinai and jerusalem are prep drawings by Roberts for his cellebrated etchings.
The camera says made in Western Germany… that’s what I call a clue! Not 1920’s Art Deco, but (kinda obv) most definitely post WW2.
This is the same video that's posted as Leeds Castle Part 1
Russian Gold is considered the finest gold in the world (for many reasons) and the 2nd best is considered Dahlonega, Georgia !?
This woman looks the same age in every episode.
