Making a tiki mug

Sometimes all the inspiration you need is "hmm, I think I'd like to make one of these". That's the story of how this project came to being, and this is the video that shows how we did it. These will look awesome in the tiki bar...now we have to build a tiki bar.

Okay, I want tot do thisl. Questions, What is the pressure drum looking thing you put everything in? And secondly, do you not put htis in a kiln? Or is that pressure thing act as a kiln? Are the mugs fireproof once you are done?
