Great work! I adapted a 14.4V DeWalt drill to use 20V Max flat packs, and that thing flies! I don't have to use high gear, low is fast enough! I didn't think it would last long, but I've been using it several times a week for 3 years with no signs of cooking the motor.
Upgraded from an older 18v kit. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.
Excelent as always! In this sad year, your videos have given many of us a lot of company and joy. Thanks a lot! I am your number 1 fan in Argentina. Greetings from Buenos Aires!
Отличное восстановление Хорошее и понятное видео с названием жидкостей и порошков! Очень интересно смотреть!!!, прям как сериал смотрю каждый вечер! Спасибо!
It's kinda amazing how far Impact technology has come. All that swinging metal inside that driver and it couldn't push that lag screw through the wood. I have a 12v Milwaukee FUEL that can outwork my 18v Milwaukee.
my favorite part is the completed disassembly table layout. great job!!! nice portable soldering fans. REQUEST: MAKE a video on how to build one. thanks!!!
I'm glad that you like this style. The portable soldering fans is made from computer fans, on/off, female dc jack, and battery pack 12.6V (BMS 3S20A, Li-ion 18650 3.7V 3200mAh). Anyway thank you interesting it :)
Very nice work! Only thing I would improve is thicker cable from main minus and plus poles of the battery pack to the BMS, since those carry a lot of current. The wires from BMS to drill are good.
Otra estupenda restauracion que hoy usted nos presenta, quedo excelente tanto el pack de baterias como esta llave de impacto de 12V Dewalt DW052-JP TIPO1, mis respetos y saludos desde Venezuela.
Audience, I know at 12:18. You want to keep that solder smoke out of your nose. Oh and great portable fan. I just use a small USB fan with battery pack. It works the easiest. Great job on the full restoration...
Great piece of work! Some companies tend to build things so they can't be opened easily, although I think in case of this battery it was some enviroment protection laws. Keep doing the great stuff!
Where does it show that the bearing was replaced or damaged for that matter I'm sure it was bad after removal because the outer race was what was used to pull it off either way it was a nice job
Awesome video 👍😀 I like that at the end he use it to screw some screws I was expecting that to happen at any point.i sleep last night watching it but today I finish watching this interesting video nice job 👍
Great work! I see you are a perfectionist. The only suggestion I have is to use better grease like molybdenum disulphide and not paint over the rubber handle. Awesome content
Oh, I love this....:) It gives such a good feeling to make something neglected like new or better (Li-Ion). I started on my first one a few weeks ago but got hold up. When I started to search for a suitable grease for the little old Makita model 6501 I saw at my local thrift store. It was full of dirt but works. I haven't got the proper tools yet for things like pulling bearings but want to restore this little drill. I truly enjoy your vids as they are a source of ideas and good feelings :) Thanks!

This makes me want to go to the scrap yard and shop for a vintage project.
Oh really! I'm so happy to hear that

This will be a cool project. I restored my old Marantz 2220 stereo receiver.

Can we see a performance test of all the drills you've rebuilt. I think that could be a cool video.
Okay, I will do it one day, thank you visit my channel again.
I agree. Maybe compare the restored tools to a modern 20v model. Show how much they’ve progressed!
That battery rebuild is a work of art
Yes, it is :)
Today i watched a man do a FULL body restoration of an old DeWalt Impact.

So is it just me or was the drill ok from the start and just needed a hot battery 😂? Great work cleaning it though

Lol I was thinking the same thing
I mean, I’m sure that if the drill was broken he would’ve named the video. “Fixing”
Restoration is just bringing it back to life it doesn't always have to involve fixing any sort of mechanical or electrical failure
I really like this channel
