I have been in the Digital recording business since it’s onset, and even before that for a few years. These products that can keep coming out demonstrating just have it all. It’s pretty difficult to find something he demonstrates that doesn’t sound great. I am not into this kind of music myself, but I can appreciate its computer power and it’s tonal power. Everything sounds like it was done in an analog environment with the exception of the distortion, which definitely sounds like digital distortion, which is basically what someone would be looking for when they’re playing this type of music, so that’s a good thing! keep them coming! Good stuff
You’re right. I’m an analog guy myself from my tape days. Like real tubes etc, but this suite is impressive as I said n the video

17:38 I still have a Torpedo VB101 (predecessor to the Torpedo Studio), that i barely use, but i think i'll keep it as an advanced loadbox/DI to track real amps / real pedals so that i don't need any ITB plugins (like Genome or WOS, that i can use on other tracks for reamping, etc) for that

07:12 you're redlining on your genome output (and your rhythm guitars kinda sound distorted in a bad way, maybe because of that)
EDIT : 10:28 here you're clipping on the plugin input
EDIT 2 : not saying having healthier I/O levels in the plugin will help the tone but it's worth a try

Not enough people know about ya right now man. I have an awesome metal tone with my amp blended with Genome and a couple other things.... I like the Boogie amps personally, but the new peavey sim sounds pretty tight I haven't gotten into it yet. I just bought it last weekend when ya'lI sent that email HAHAHA I was impressed I got a bunch of the speakers dynirs... You really have to blend two of them to get that thing I like.... The Clean amps is what I was looking for when I got Genome when it was released after the first I think it was... Genome has one of the BEST Clean amp sims I have been able to find... The metal tone was a Bonus!

I used to be good way back when... LOL 1998 is when I got in my first real heavy band Shattered Darkness is what we called ourselves. I still have my facebook page up.. I did all the artwork too HAHAH James of all trades lol

Hey James, Thanks for the comment and as you might know. I'm all about real tubes. Yea Boggie and Bogner is where I'm at. But always take the challenge to get the most out of whats in front of me.

amp sims are already the least of our problems, im stil wondering how much close this one feels to the real deal, im sure it cant harmonically make up for tones like a real amp., but is it at least 2 diminutional, 4? a real amp is like 10+ harmonic dimensional, then you have angles your ears get a slant tone from., or feel from cabs.
@@OfficialFatLip Yup. I prefer a real amp any day. Mainly because of latency and real amps make you make a decision early. Option paralysis is a thing. Sound better too.
