They are living treasures. I am sorry Larry Ramos is gone. RIP buddy, we miss you, those of us still alive that remember the day we first heard the bands songs, will never forget any of you in our lifetime.
I remember when The Association performed “Never My Love” at the Schaffer Music Festival in Central Park in 1972. Jim Yester, playing organ, introduced this hit song, saying, “We recorded this song when we were all 14-years-old,” which elicited great laughter from the audience there at the Wollman Skating Rink.
I love the Association. Such a legendary band. Jim Yester is from Alabama too.
These guys stood the test of time. Legends! (Some are living American treasures)

Hundreds (maybe a thousand+) gigs and I NEVER heard anyone tell that joke.
Hilarious!😁😁😁😁
