Hey great reaction as always! You might have not noticed it, but in the solo they play the Soviet Anthem towards near the end of the solo.

I've actually only seen one reactor recognizing the Soviet Anthem.... and she's Russian. But she went absolutely nuts when she heard it, it was so much fun to watch.

This song is actually a cover of the song by Radio Tapok, russian artist who has covered many Sabaton songs (and wrote this song in Sabaton style), so they decided to return the favor

The live version of Attack of the Dead Mean in Moscow includes Radio Topak on stage with Sabaton. Worth the watch.

      @@rayceofhistory I can understand that...
Being born and raised in the northern part of Sweden, take my advice, make sure you open the can outside, couse the first smell is really...ehhh...pungent!😂
Also...remember that the smell is not depicting the taste.

Fun Fact: a part of the guitar solo is the national anthem of the Soviet Union

I had someone on discord suggest I stand up and put my hand over my heart during the solo, but I thought some people might not be as receptive to the joke. The solo sounded great though.

Tommy explained that the whole solo is Soviet (Russian) anthem but at first it's hidden in the solo. You can hear it if you listen carefully.

  • @Anders-M

The entire solo is based on the Russian national anthem. Tommy explains it in a video about the solo. Watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/SbJL2DPkuTQ/v-deo.html

@3:50 is it the war factories series you can see on UA-cam? Because they are fantastic.
Edit: if I was the one that told you about it I am going to feel like an ass 😂

It is on UA-cam. I’m not sure how I came across it or if somebody told me about it but it’s an awesome series.

@@rayceofhistory I mentioned it on a couple channels I don't remember which ones. But ya I would recommend it to anyone because it's a part of war most people don't think of but is so important. America basically just dropped it's entire economy on Germany and japan would be the tldr version.

Great reaction as usual, did you recognize the soviet anthem in the guitar solo? As per the British writer Anthony Beevor, the advance of the German army was so fast in the first weeks because Stalin had gone off the radar and the soviet response could not be properly organized until he came back to sense. Beevor also points that a good deal of the soviet heavy industry had already been moved to the Ural region before june 1941.

    • @rayceofhistory
      @rayceofhistory  2 роки тому +1

I appreciate it. I’ll have to look at Beevor’s writing, I’d been watching/reading what it took to physically move the factories so that was the direction I went with just because it was on the top of my mind. Yes, the solo was awesome. I had someone on discord recommend I stand up and put my hand over my heart for it as a sort of joke but I thought there might be some people that took it the wrong way. And how could you not go offline if you’re Stalin when the invasion starts? Everybody in the west had been screaming at him that the giant German mobilization wasn’t for exercises on the Soviet border, but he wouldn’t listen. So once it happened I’m sure he was a little unsure of himself and the situation.

Заводы? Жуков? Не смотри американскую дрянь. В СССР Жуков не мог и не командовал перемещением заводов.
