    Considering tests are becoming more valued again, will being a National Merit Semifinalist help?

      Making it to the Semifinalist round will not sway colleges as there are 15,000 finalist chosen each year. From there they choose 2,500 to receive a scholarship. It would be at the Finalist level that it is given some credit
