Hi! I was wondering if I could be ready to take step 1 in 3 days. Took all NBMEs online and timed. NBME 27 - 63% June 23rd, NBME 29 - 68% July 14th, NBME 30- 73% July 31st , NBME 31- 74% Aug 23rd. I took free 120 at the test center and it was only 62% on Aug 13th so I pushed the test back from Aug 20 to Aug 29th. I now took UWSA 3 and scored only 56% -> 209. sorta scared to take the test on Aug 29th.I found the UWSA 3 SUPER hard, the first two blocks had so many complex worded qs that werre different from the NBME style.
Sorry for delayed respose. But u should be ok, ur scores were passing except uwsa 3 which is naturally hard. I would say calm urself destress and go in with a fresh mind, u already know u can do super well! Goodluck tomorrow 🫡

How much of the janki deck did you cover? Do you think it’s better to do it for weak subjects instead of entire deck. Like mine is surgery and Obgyn. I was doing anking, but it got too much doing 700-800 reviews/day and ended up dropping it bec I didn’t have enough time to do practice questions. I’m trying to find a middle ground where I do little bit of Anki and more questions. Any suggestions?
@@deathkissgoodbye hey there so I personally did all of it and barely completed it all before gets, but if u don’t have enough time or want to do less anki yes focus on weaknesses. One thing I did to limit my anki was just do 500 cards max including new so that I still covered all the cards just didn’t spend too much time on them, I hope that helps
Took nbme 11 got 221. Had time managment issues. Now im doing uworld random 3 blocks a day so i can get the practice of random and timed. Will try to incorperate cms and divine (maybe) Exam at the end of july. Do you think 245+ is possible?
I think 245+ is very possible in your time frame! i think Divine is a necessity, especially on topics you're weak on. and CMS maybe do those towards the end of ur prep to get into the zone of NBME writing instead of uworld. Right now focus on finding your weak points and strenghting them. I hope this helps! Please message me anytime for any questions.

I would as you're correcting and find a forgotten topic or a weak point write it down in a note. like whatever the questions was write down the topic. and if it was only an understanding of question error write in your notes in all caps why you got it wrong the logic you misused and the right logic instead and why its right. does that help?
Ok dont panic, take into account everything that caused to to get that score and how much time you have left. Identify all the questions u got wrong and right and why for every one. Then attack all the weaknesses and supplement in divine intervention to fill in those content gaps cause realistically that score means you probably have some contact gaps. Hello sorry I did not see this im so sorry! for 40 questions took me an hour to do them and about 45 minutes to correct them. so doing 2 blocks and corrections it took about 3.5 hours total
I used uworld, amboss, nbme tests, anki, divine intervention, and notes I took on everything. And yes step 1 is important for ck cause it’s the building block for knowledge that you learn for step 2 and some step 1 questions inevitably show up on ck

Hi! I scored in the 60s on my first step 1 NBME. If possible could you share with me, your last two step 1 NBME scores before taking the big test? I want to meet the criteria for a safe pass, but I also want to ensure that I'm at a good place to begin step 2 prep so I can score high on that too. Kind of getting nervous as I noticed so many people with 250s and 260s on step 2 had high step 1 scores (240s +).

So I lowered it to like 500 max including reviews because I wanted to focus on questions more than anki at the end of the prep period
