**Outstanding video!** Going back to the basics is *truly* the key to success. People often misunderstand the power of a proper warmup, but it can *completely* dictate how your entire night goes. This is a topic we all need constant reminders of. Thank you so much for all you do! 👏🔥
Jeffy, what about social situations in the workplace where one cannot build social momentum like the club or the strip? These days, it is especially challenging to socialize with co workers because they are siloed off wearing their ear pods and nose in their smartphones. Even during break time, they choose to silo themselves off and sit at tables alone with their smart phone. Now one may say , oh stop trying to socialize with coworkers, you are there to work, not make friends. But workplace comradery and charisma is important.
Dude im that guy with earpods in. Just leave ma alone, I got a job to do and deadlines to keep, it's not that I dont want to socialize its just that i have anxiety because i am thinking about the stuff i have to do.
The anti social chode above me is right - even at clubs most people don’t want to socialize - it’s hard to find people who want to play the social game with you - that’s why it’s important to play big numbers
@@blueocean4447 thanks for your input. But i remember a time when earpods and smartphones did not exist. The main source of entertainment in the workplace was other coworkers. The radio was a part of it too but more of a conversation piece. Yes people had deadlines to meet back then too. If you really have anxiety and must concentrate on your work, why are you distracting yourself with a smartphone and earpods?
@@charthers8903 yes, people these days come up with all kinds of excuses to have apathy toward their fellow man. Their smartphone is of utmost priority to them.
@@TimBrown-e9l I've been burned by trusting coworkers before. Now I keep to myself and a tiny group of friends and my girlfriend. I will socialize with you when there is time but most of the time Im Just too depressed because there I don't care about strangers really after pandemic. I am unvaxxed and have trust issues now
I am in a state that requires lots of approaches to reach the enthusiasm threshold. Do you think by going out consistently it will be taking fewer and fewer approaches to hit it?
My personal opinion is if you want to change and build your confidence, I don’t think you can build your confidence by using alcohol as a substitute. So in my opinion, alcohol free in the clubs is cheaper. You’re not tired the next day and your building your own personal confidence not a synthetic one.
Where does enjoy yourself in the environment fit in to this sequence? You mention this is a prerequisite in other videos. But if I walk in and immediately chat people up, I’m kinda skipping that. Or I guess the first couple of interactions are a way of getting to that enjoyment?
