I completely stopped drinking and partying lifestyle which I don't miss at all. Few of my friends still drink and party heavily but l have found that our friendships have lasted because we have found a different new interest other than drinking.
That's a good and a brave decision you made. I'm with you. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the friends who still drink, it's very encouraging. I'd be very sad to lose the friendships just because of that. Good luck and take care!
I stopped drinking a year ago. I am 60 years old, so a very long life of social drinking. I never thought I could do it, but I did. All of the reasons above and more, but the bottom line was my health. Your liver will heal very quickly, giving you back some of the benefits you thought you lost. I will be honest, I suffered from depression and fear, always wanting to go back. So please, if you need help find it, you will never regret it. Peace love and strength to all.
Amazing testimony, thank you very much for sharing. It really is tough breaking the habit, feels like we're losing something that nothing can replace. You're very brave for facing that battle, huge well done :) As you said, the thing that benefits the most is our health. We often don't realise how precious it is. Hold on through depression and fear, the mind throws on us a lot of emotions and tricks us to go back to what's comfortable but it all passes and things do get better and healthier :) Wishing you best of luck! PS I'm still not drinking, this year actually didn't drink whatsoever :D
Thank you for your kind words. I do believe it's important to share these things and show there is another option than just following the crowd :) Warm greetings to you :)
You're so right about the "more energy" part and I didn't notice until you said so. But it's so true! Alcohol makes you dumber and slower, like you need alcohol to be active. Now, being 36, I have more energy than when I was 23, the last time I drank alcohol. I dropped alcohol like you did, but I'm an alcoholic. The worst part is I never thought I had a problem, I realize it now. Luckily I was a party drinker and I stopped drinking when I stopped going out. I partied almost every night since I was 14 until 23, which is quite a lot for me. Never did drugs but alcohol... I tried vodka with anything you can think of. But past is past, I just need to never drink again because I can't go through that nightmare again. Simply can't. I'm so glad you don't get drunk anymore, but I might suggest you drop it entirely too. There's no scientific evidence that proves alcohol is good for you in small doses, not any published in a prestigious scientific publication and reviewed by peers. Thank you for your videos, see you next time. :)
Well done for overcoming this awful habit, especially if it was turning into addiction. Yes, you are so right that the alcohol makes you dumber hehe , well put it this way, I find myself much sharper these days than before ;) I think I might drop it completely in the future but when I say I drink very little I mean like once every few months a beer or a glass of wine so it's very very rare! Warm greetings to you and keep strong in your healthy ways!
@@averno9 WOW partying every night at such young age? How did you find any energy to do your homeworks, completed any exam? Congratulation on overcoming your addiction.
Hangovers are a sign that you are hurting your precious body. I used to suffer for 2 days at a time from hangovers. I was a raging partier/drinker in my 20's but after my son was born, made a conscious decision to bring it to a stop. What I discovered is that I can have just as much fun out with my friends, whether they're drinking or not, if I don't drink. My decision making is much clearer and I no longer find myself in the 'bad situations' I once did in my 20's. My skin also looks SO much better from not drinking. With all the non-alcoholic drinks available now, it's not that hard to blend right into the party. Alcohol is a strange habit... along with smoking... imo. Glad to see you've discovered this at such a young age and controlled it before it controlled you... good for you :)
That's the best decision for you and your son. Congratulations to making it. Yeah the skin can feel it too... and the wallet! and the head or course (hangover + many bad decisions ;) ) It's a strange habit indeed. You are right, with the increasingly more non alco choices it's easier than ever to be just you without explaining yourself to everyone around why you're not joining in drinking. Keep it up and all the best!

I love your honesty. It's a beautiful thing to be confident, and comfortable in your own skin isn't it?! I also used to party because that's what people do when they're really young. But, like you, I also got really tired of it and decided to live sober. It's funny how some of my friends from the past eventually moved on and stopped partying too. But many did not and it really shows in their physical appearance. They look at least 20 years older than I do. It's a hard life style and I honestly don't think it offers anything positive to a person's life.
True story, and I agree, it's a lot to do with the young age. At some point you just simply grow out of some things. And totally, you can tell by how ppl look if they have been keeping a healthy lifestyle or not! ;) Congratulations on being sober and keep it up! :)

Hi I’m 47 now and I have been in the same boat since years now . I m not into partying like my friends still do and I do not like social drinking . I also found that I spend a lot less money on excessive and unnecessary designer wear and bags like before , to show off at these parties . Been to so many since years but just realised it has to stop and made the choice of what is better for me . Almost 1 decade now . If your friends are yours forever they will always find ways to keep in touch with you and meet you besides the parties they go to . You will in fact discover all those who love you and in fact they will have a different level of respect for you because you do not follow any clan and you made your own decisions of what suits you the most . They will not express it but they will have a different place in their hearts ... and then surely enough .. some of them will eventually follow your footsteps as well . Hugs !🥰

The UK has huge drinking culture, I know that when I was growing up I was a full alcoholic from when I was about 13 till my mid 20s, along with a lot of other drugs on top... but that was just seen as normal because I hid that I took it too far and everyone else was drinking.
olgatoja omg you replied thank u so much will definitely going to try and update ☺️ Me and my sis both love your all videos and we also do face massage. Love from India 🇮🇳
I have never drank alcohol in my entire life because Alcohol and other intoxicants are forbidden and considered sinful in our religion. Thanks GOD that i am Muslim
I was also partying alot, more so staying up ungodly amounts of time and not so much excessive drinking but still. I felt bad and depressed all the time and although my friends are really awesome people, I also feel the gap that you explained. I can observe the physical changes my friends have and they're not positive. They gain weight, their skin looks dull and it makes me sad to see. Also I cannot imagine how much money they just spend to chase this state of mind :( I stopped drinking alcohol and drink very occasionally as I still like the taste of beer, but that's about it. I never knew what you could do besides partying on the weekends, but now I like to do sports and reading and learning. Investing in myself and my future. I feel so much better. But I battle skinproblems like extremly dry skin now and I don't know where to start.
I don't know how dry your skin is and I'm no dermatologist. I watched Olga's face massage videos and she used grapeseed oil. It's only £3 at Holland and Barrett. It totally changed my dry skin within days around my head and nose and helped with fine lines. I still moisturise daily and cleanse every 2nd day. I do the message before bed 3x a week to let the oil soak overnight and your skin will hopefully look better and not dry. 👍
Great that you stopped drinking , well done. it does affect the whole body. And I ;m glad you mentioned about depression, I forgot to say that - I'd often come back from the parties and cry! It was just making me sad and depressed but somehow I always brushed it off. Not a good sign and definitely the body is trying to tell you sth. I think you have a very bright future ahead of you - it's crazy the amount of time we can find when we make some good decisions. Cograts and best of luck!
Dear Olga, I can partly relate to you, since I am also from Eastern Europe and, unfortunately, alcoholism is in our culture. And every family has a person having issues with it... I never was a drinker, but I dont drink alcohol at all for 12 years now. As additional benefit I can say that the mind keeps being always sharp, you are able to find other ways to relax and still have sharp mind when being relaxed.
Well done for also not drinking. Ehh such a shame it's so popular in Estern Europe.. and it destroyed so many families :( All we can do is to raise awareness and be an example. Keep it up and keep strong :)
Luckily I never started partying and drinking. It was very hard as a teenager in a western country. So much peer preassure and not even my parents understood my choice. But I always felt that drinking is bad and I believe that the clearity in my mind is, because I never followed such a lifestyle. For all teenies in here: be strong 💪 The increased productivity will make you more successful than the others.
You go girl, so proud of you to never give in to the pressure! I'm sure you're already far ahead in life comparing to some of your partying colleagues ;) Keep it up!
I know how you feel when you say that when you decline to drink with the company you are in, you feel like you re disappointing the others and they view you like a spoil sport. I had to say no and put my foot down really strongly and explain to my hosts that they are doing me no favour by offering me a drink every time I visit, on the contrary they are ruining my day because I ll have a headache for the rest of the day , thanks to them . They seemed to finally get the message.
Awesome attitude, well done. I totally get you that you had to be firm and explain a little more than you wished... it should be ok to just say no. I do think the attitude towards non drinkers is slowly changing in the culture though. Hopefully it will get a little easier with time... Keep strong!

Seemed impossible, but it’s been over 7 months and I don’t crave a drop of alcohol, the KEY difference was that I didn’t suffer withdrawal, not even within the first 30 days after I actually applied what I talked about. No need for AA meetings or meds either, I just luckily go’ogled Steffon Barkload’s latest, man, wish I had done it sooner.
So many programs out there that promise you'll quit drinking from one day to the next and feel great for the rest of your life. Listen, Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever takes a lighter, safer approach which you decide to go with at your own pace. Best shortcut I go’ogled that only took days to rewire my brain to continually experience mental peace.

Hello olga. I really benefit from your face massage videos. Could you also do a video on how to massage oil on our scalp to reduce hair fall and maybe help avoid premature greying! Lots of love from India love your videos.
Hi Olga! What’s your hair color and lipstick brand? Suits you! So pretty!
Thank you. Hair colour is my natural dark blonde. Lipstick is Revlon Matte in the shade Forever + lipliner in the shade dervish. Thanks for the complement :)
Hi there, thank you so much for the useful tips which have given. I totally agree with your thoughts about alcohol when you drink more you get more and serious problems in your head and by time to time it leads to worse consequences like cirrhosis (a chronic disease of the liver )
Again thank you and keep going I fancy your every video 🧡

The UK has huge drinking culture, I know that when I was growing up I was a full alcoholic from when I was about 13 till my mid 20s, along with a lot of other drugs on top... but that was just seen as normal because I hid that I took it too far and everyone else was drinking.
I think smoking weed is more common nowadays.
Your hair is beautiful :)
In my religion, alkohol is totally prohibited for many reasons. The minor reason is the face health
I too rarely drink alcohol these days, and I don’t miss those hangovers either, especially since I’m quite a bit older than you 😁
I r so honest I think
Pls help which hada labo product I should use mine is dry skin with dry patches pls help love from India 😘
Try using it after the toner and before the cream. It should give you extra hydration boost and help with dry patches :)

I have never drank alcohol in my entire life because Alcohol and other intoxicants are forbidden and considered sinful in our religion. Thanks GOD that i am Muslim
love your channel and thank you so much for the videos , its very helpful
Yes good quit drinking it's not good! Overall it's really a good video Olga😍🤘
Best decision
Haiii Olga sis
Omg! You look even more beautiful! 😍😍😍
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH
Luckily I never started partying and drinking.
Your personality is really v attractive and u know , u look just like my Mother

Hi. how are you my sweet lovely friend

Hello!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
So many programs out there that promise you'll quit drinking from one day to the next and feel great for the rest of your life. Listen, Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever takes a lighter, safer approach which you decide to go with at your own pace. Best shortcut I go’ogled that only took days to rewire my brain to continually experience mental peace.
Olgatoja you are a very kind and nice person indeed, I follow all your videos which are really amazing. One thing I want to tell you, you are searching for something, something is missing in your life, and I know that thing, have you ever heard about Islam, please Olga read about it and I promise you you will never regret doing so, everything that you have said in this video is compatible with Islam concepts, that's simply Islam is, Religion of thinking, using your brain in everything you do, and do not only follow others. May God bless you dear..
She clearly stated in one of her previous videos that she is Christian and has, in the past years, found great help in her faith. Suggesting other religions in this situation is quite disturbing and uncalled for.
Thanks for your good intentions :)
