Back in the day, best mate worked in the local Ford dealer who gave him a Fiesta 950 base to use. Was noisy and slow but great fun!
I had a Granada ghia like a sofa on wheels soo comfy
Another good video lads🚗🚙🚘👏👏👏👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
“The quality is up there with the British built car” that high, Lord help us !

My dad had a C plate 2.0i GL Granada, so I know the car/spec quite well.
- PAS was an option, as was metallic paint.
- Manual windows all round.
- No sunroof.
- No rev counter.
Std features were:
- ABS (as with all Mk3s)
- Central locking
- 6-speaker radio with joystick balance/fander.
IMO, the 2.0i engine was the best to have in the early Mk3s. On a manual, it was quicker to 60 than the auto V6 and used a lot less fuel.
Guide prices?
I want the x19.. guid price would be useful
🙋 Two ✌ video downloads at the same time ?. Well, i guess lucky us viewers..........
Great video guys.
Thanks so much!
On the Jag, the cruise control bellows is mounted upside down. Sorry for being pedantic 😊
Not a fan of poverty spec cars so the Grannie and the fiesta are out for me. Scirocco or the Audi 80 Coupe I think (or that lovely little Triumph Vitesse that you somehow seemed to pass by... 🤔 )
Imagine going back in time to 1997, walking into a Porsche Dealer & asking about the purchase of a 911. The scenario would go like this: Salesman; "Well sir we have this 911 model 993 Carrera 2. Air cooled 3.6 liter 272 HP for £58995 but we don't make this any more. Here sir (pointing to the 911 model 996 Carrera 2) is the future of the Porsche 911. 3.4 liter water cooled & 296 HP, starting at £62000". Of course the buyer would opt for the new model from the epitome of German automotive engineering. However the 993 was the last of the "Hand Assembled", overly engineered, "Hewn from Granite" built Porsche cars before the accountants took over & based production on Toyota methods using VW Group electrics & climate control modules. What followed of course was inferior build: "D Chunk" failure of cylinders, coolant & oil mixing, IMS Bearing failure & Bore Scoring from a Manufacturer far from the "epitome of Engineering" & build quality. So the last of the line 993's are still commanding £43000 while the 996 starts from £14950 (Auto Trader UK /4/24). Say no more.
Still online auction only..Hobbs Parker have a fantastic site but don't use its full potential.
No prices? Weird
