Going back through some of theses older 'late to the party' vids on the play list and I just got to shout out that is one of the coolest bro moments I've ever heard of. We all need a buddy like Matt.
My nephew got Legends for the switch for Christmas. We played the proper game once before I told him about the football mini game and we spent the rest of the holidays locked in an intense battle.
I'm making an assumption here, so please forgive me if I'm mistaken, but the Kiwi claim to the dish is based on anecdotal evidence, while it appears in Australian cookbooks from the late 1920s. Before it makes its 1935 debut in New Zealand. As I am nationally obligated to poke fun at your accent: About sex years before you guys made it
Classic West Island rubbish, I think you'll find it's the other way around. The pavlova initially appears in Australia in a recipe in 1935, while a jellified version appears in NZ in 1927, with anecdotal meringue versions cropping up in between. I tried working in Sheila somewhere, but no luck...
"Friendly competition" takes on its usual malevolent and sinister meaning whenever Team Eurogamer engages in it. :) (Next time it would be nice if Aoife's mic was set to the same output volume as Johnny's ;) )
The Rock references made my day. Edit: "Are you ready for some..," (pls say jolly co-operation pls say jolly co-operation plsss.) " friendly competition?" (Damn it Johnny.)
I also have a love related relationship to this game, a bit happier than johnnys, i met my current girlfriend at a late afterparty, we went home to my place and sat buck naked on the floor playing rayman until the sun went up, since then it has been our go to booze game.
Please get all four of you playing this! It would be hilarious! Love this game played endless hours with my nephew! Never could finish the original on PlayStation though!
I love the pairing of Aoife & Johnny. I wish I had a friendship like theirs. You know, where you can fling insults and blame the other for all the worlds problems, while they tell me everything is fine and I'm doing well. (Clearly I want to be the Aoife in the relationship)
Here's an idea for a late to the party (if Aoife hasn't played this) : Metal Gear Rising : Revengeance. And if she has, have her make someone else play it. It is a great, GREAT, G.R.E.A.T. character action game.
This game seems to be good when drunk, l also played it with a friend after a "couple" of beers... or was it legend? edit: ohh yeah, it was legend because we played it on PS4
Got some suspicious deja vu until I realised you'd used a bit of this in an earlier video. Some day, my psychic abilities will blossom; I'm sure.. Wait, did you use a clip of this? I'm so confused.
It was the bit around the 25 minute mark, but just the gameplay. Perhaps somebody else just happened to use that same bit of the game recently. Spooky. Nope, legit deja vu; I can't find it anywhere. How strange.
I never played the originals nor the 3D titles but I just find that Origins and Legends give the New Super Mario formula some competition and my thirst for a new title is not quenched
I detects a bit of subliminal advertising right here. She is using a PS4 controller (lightbar and charger in front) which seems to be plugged in. This looks to be as much a calculated attempt to cash in on the couch co-op nostalgia crowd while bolstering "late stage millenial mindlessness" apologetics. Either way the optics do not resonate with a basic core user experience. C'mon now... the first thing one would do in prep for a "Let's Play" is charge up the batwing! The second narrative glitch is born of a bit of gaming knowledge combined with an illogical premise. While Rayman Legends has been ported to the PS4, Origins has Not! We also know that the one thing PS4 lacks is the ability to engage "last gen" discs. It is only playable on the PS4 with an active PSNow account. All signs indicate this as a veiled "plug" (which suggests a possible sponsorship.) One wonders if they fathomed the success of their "influence" would have disappounted a few viewers who wanted to follow their lead (or figured noone would notice.) The illusion would have been convincing if she was holding a Dualshock 3 (unplugged) but they must not have wanted to appear That "late to the party." So, Yeah... Note to content creators... The first crack in your story is going to reveal any that follow. As so many 45 minute break-downs of 3 minute "Announce Trailers" prove, Gamers have a keen eye for detail and once they realize that they have a better grasp of a subject than is being presented they move on to a more educated source. Damn... and to think I had just subscribed to this channel! I guess it's up to me to set an example. Next...!
Hello, thank you for the forensic analysis of this video. We plugged a PS4 controller into a PC because it was the nearest controller to hand. That's why we're using a 360 pad and a PS4 controller at the same time in order to play Origins. You may want to loosen your tin foil hat, assuming you haven't yet 'moved on to a more educated source'
Matt, what a legend.
Going back through some of theses older 'late to the party' vids on the play list and I just got to shout out that is one of the coolest bro moments I've ever heard of. We all need a buddy like Matt.
I love how grumpy Aoife gets when she's losing in a game because it totally reminds me of me!
Matt: the hero we need but don't deserve
The transformation from "Helpful, Patient Johnny" to "Volcanic Fountain Of Obscenities Johnny" was breathtaking in its speed and completeness.
My nephew got Legends for the switch for Christmas. We played the proper game once before I told him about the football mini game and we spent the rest of the holidays locked in an intense battle.
Jane Wallace-Knight fun!
Kung Foot could be a game on its own
As an Australian, I am very offended. My culture has many dishes including beer, wine which we call 'Goon', and of course kangeroo steaks on the BBQ.
Don't forget pavlova. Or, if God forbid, you're from Adelaide, meat pie floaters
Never tell them about our delicious fried spiderlegs. They must remain a secret.
Don't. You. Dare. Claim. Pavlova.
I'm making an assumption here, so please forgive me if I'm mistaken, but the Kiwi claim to the dish is based on anecdotal evidence, while it appears in Australian cookbooks from the late 1920s. Before it makes its 1935 debut in New Zealand.

It was, she just got so loud it went clippy. It sounds like you're being deafened, would you like some help with that?
Matt sounds like a great guy.
He does, and Johnny sounds like a cheap date, thinks a bottle and a half of wine is serious drinking :)
*video starts with Aoife raging* Well this is going to be a good one
The Rock references made my day. Edit: "Are you ready for some..," (pls say jolly co-operation pls say jolly co-operation plsss.) " friendly competition?" (Damn it Johnny.)
The first Rayman was the original rage game. Thinking back to the stationery world still gives me PTSD.
the moment johnny said "har gow" in my mother tongue i thought i had too much to drink
I also have a love related relationship to this game, a bit happier than johnnys, i met my current girlfriend at a late afterparty, we went home to my place and sat buck naked on the floor playing rayman until the sun went up, since then it has been our go to booze game.
I think the most interesting the entire video, is Johnny's near perfect Cantonese.
I saw the "Yes, and I sure showed you" gag coming a country mile off, but fuck if I didn't love it. 10/10
With every video with you two I watch I am more and more reminded of me and my sister
So many secret rooms passed over. So many secret routes to coins passed by. So many coins missed. My heart hurts a little....
28:00 Aoife’s “Wheee!” straight into “RRRRRGGH!!!” just gets me right in the funny bone
one of the best platformers
I absolutely adored this game. The little song the lums sing is the best! The Rayman series really doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
I love Johnny’s beard
Absolutely loved Rayman Legends!! This has got me in the mood to play Origins!
Please get all four of you playing this! It would be hilarious! Love this game played endless hours with my nephew! Never could finish the original on PlayStation though!
This is one of the few games that I actually played on Vita and it looked amazing!
I remember playing the first Raymon it was a blast if very tricky to get all the collectables.
Johnny: Maybe we can learn to work together...
Aoife: I don't know....
Late to the party: My go-to let play to watch as i get ready for work. 👏
This was lovely. Like watching two siblings play a game together, lol
I forgot how great this game is. I'll need to dig it out for the PS Vita.
It's never late to play this masterpiece.
now everybody want a buddy named matt
"Not my hubris." The British version of " Yeah, my teamwork"
Aww I was hoping for the first Rayman game and the reaction to music level.
I love the pairing of Aoife & Johnny. I wish I had a friendship like theirs. You know, where you can fling insults and blame the other for all the worlds problems, while they tell me everything is fine and I'm doing well. (Clearly I want to be the Aoife in the relationship)
Love this game.
_Food is like music you can taste_
I would hate it if this was a myth busters situation!
Please be friends! The internet needs it.

Aoife would make the an awesome grandma....If she chooses to age.
Damn it, now I need hangover dim sum.
I want a new 3D rayman sooo bad.
This game seems to be good when drunk, l also played it with a friend after a "couple" of beers... or was it legend?
edit: ohh yeah, it was legend because we played it on PS4
Matt sounds cool
I love this fucking game.
I want a Matt. That’s an amazing friend.
I love these
The drummer of Incubus helped produce the music for it.
My mistake. His was Legends. Whoops... Who knew Aoife could get so damn intensely competitive. MLG MVP 2018
Hot damn, that was a loud intro. >_O
Got some suspicious deja vu until I realised you'd used a bit of this in an earlier video. Some day, my psychic abilities will blossom; I'm sure.. Wait, did you use a clip of this? I'm so confused.
I don't think we did... now I'm confused! - Aoife
It was the bit around the 25 minute mark, but just the gameplay. Perhaps somebody else just happened to use that same bit of the game recently. Spooky.
Nope, legit deja vu; I can't find it anywhere. How strange.
Is it just me or does Johnny's mic sound better than Aoife's mic?
brilliant game, better than legends imo
This is one of the absolute LTTP episodes ever!
Aoife is so adorable!
Bratt is totally Will.
We need a third 2d Rayman title!
Quite recently Michel Ancel expressed his desire to make "the fourth part" of Rayman, I guess he has a 3D game in mind.
I never played the originals nor the 3D titles but I just find that Origins and Legends give the New Super Mario formula some competition and my thirst for a new title is not quenched
Love a bit of gay man ❤️🔥
Love all the shit talking in this.
