    Destroying the retaining teeth on my external SAS cables (and sfp+) is like a sidequest I am on. Great video!

      Yeah I remove those on all my cables because I tend to break those plastic pull tabs and end up having to pry the connector open in order to pull it out :D

    2:47 What is the grey cable that looks like usb2.0? what is it for?

      Its called a SGPIO cable usually used to light up enclosure activity LED's but can be used for other things as well.

      I have a SFF-8654 to 8x SATA cable. But it also has two of those SGPIO connectors... So I don`t have to do with it anything?

      @@tanakaobi SGPIO cable does not need to be connected.
