If a woman loves a man, she will follow his lead. This doesn't mean a man isn't going to let her make decisions, or choices, but that the woman feels safe and secure with her man. Good thing there is still Province girls! I want a stay at home wife who will tend to the house and children, while I build, fix, work and provide for the family. However I think it's a huge problem when the woman says she wants the relatonship to be 50/50 but still wants the man to 100% financially responsible, it's never fair to give somone responsiblity without autority to make the decions that come with that responsiblity. Women can choose to be modern or traditonal, most western men have absolutely no problem with that, however we have a massive problem with women picking and choosing which only the circumstnaces that suit them best and leaving the man with whatever is left.

As a western guy I was looking for a conservative and traditional wife but not submissive. Whoever has the most knowledge about a situation should make the decision. My wife and I talked about it come to a decision and we both end up laughing and kissing and kissing I love it
A relationship should be a partnership, where both people are equally invested. When one person dominates or tries to control everything, it creates an imbalance. It's important that both individuals share responsibility, and not fall into roles where manipulation or superiority is at play.👍👍

I would only accept a submissive partner. I would also seriously consider her point of view on almost all matters. Particularly regarding financial matters within the country, the Filipina partner would be my family and cultural ambassador, as such I would count on her assessment of things to ensure I have a proper perspective before making any decision. Furthermore, as I make financial investments I would need her to gain full understanding and acquire the necessary skills in order to properly manage the assets when time comes for her to lead due to age. So many western women criticize men who say they want a "traditional" relationship. I can't speak for anyone else but when I say Traditional I am referring to gender roles and whether or not they are conservative. I don't want a submissive woman so much as a woman who respects me, but more importantly she respects herself. Part of respecting yourself is voicing your opinion. Relationships should be 50/50 on decision making , however the partner with the most experience on the decision should have more influence on the outcome.

Biblical submission allows a wife to confidently follow her husband’s lead. And Ephesians 5:23 makes it clear that a man does have responsibility for leadership in his home. But again, it’s only as a leader that his wife submits to him - not as a tyrant or her superior.
That said, leadership doesn’t give a husband the right to rob his wife of being a unique individual. He doesn’t get to disregard or mock her opinions and feelings. And he should never misuse leadership to get his own way. So when Paul writes “wives submit to your husbands” this is not a permission for husbands to abuse or misuse their role.
