That is the cutest , thanks for going into details making his hat to his shoes , and also the mixing and painting. I was thinking it would be cute to give him string arms with some mitten hands.
    Thank you !

Another cute project from you. I love how perfectly imperfect you are! I have had some art teachers who had an idea of what they thought the finished product should be and when mine didn’t match that idea I was left feeling like I failed. I will be making gnomes to decorate the house this year. I need to finish my papercrete stuff that I started this summer, while helping with all the decor for a wedding and trying to make a bunch of quilts for a friend. Just got back from holidays and once I tidy the house up, papercrete will get finished before winter in Calgary sets in. Not quite Arizona weather ;)

Thank you for your comments. I feel we should enjoy the process and the outcome. If the outcome is good that's great. If the outcome isn't what was in my head, I learned things and that can also be enjoyable😊
I used to make quilts a long time ago. Too much precision so I did not throughly enjoy it. I do sew. I used to have a sewing shop.
If you go see my Instagram you can see some of my other creations other than Cement and papercrete.

Is there a learning curve here? 😊 I mixed everything and it was a gloppy mess, so I added and added Portland cement and for the life of me I could not get it to set up. Will try again. But, because I was done with that, I used your papercrete recipe to finish off my gnomes, which I do love.

I'm so sorry Carol. I will look again at the recipe. I hope I posted it correctly

Not to worry, I figured out what works for me. I live in a high humidity area, so that might be what my problem was? I ended up using only about 1/8 cup of glue and just a little under 1/2 cup CementAll. Worked out great. The texture is certainly sandy but so nice to work and mold with. 😊

Very nice!!!! But I have a serious question- does it matter if it is 1 or 2 ply toilet tissue? (Not being rude, serious question) Also in your video you never verbally mention Portland cement but your written notes say to add Portland. Please advise as I truly hope to use your recipe. Thank you so much for your videos!!

Hello Cookiejug1, thank you for checking me. I made the edit to my written note in the discription. To use either portland cement or Cemental for the final kneading of the clay. Either will work. I used cemental.
I appreciate you feeling that you can check and question my content.
I do want to be a reliable resource😊

Hi Cookiejug 😊 The tissue I am using here is single ply😊
