Tip for dry hands due to exposure to cement/concrete: Pour some white vinegar over your hands and rub them together. This will allow the vinegar to neutralize the effects of cement on the skin. .... This works because the pH of cement is about 12 (which is high alkalinity) and Vinegar is a minor acid so it can help neutralize the effects of cement on the skin. I tried this and i could really tell the difference in how my hands felt. Sometimes you just have to work without the gloves...
Gracie!!! Wow I did not know this. I just took a screen shot of this information to post in my next video and give you full credit for💕💕 Thank you for sharing. How did you learn this are you a chemist?😊
Hello , congratulations on your new addition to the family, he could not be in better hands , matter of fact I'm up for adoption 😂 Love love the yellow bird , you have got another hit on your hands , and please don't stop talking ! ❤
Ahahaha, we raised 20 kids already. I have 9 adopted children and one biological child. My husband has 10 biological children from his first marriage, she passed with breast cancer. We married in 2004 and blended our family. We were empty nesters for a while. Our little guy belongs to one of my adopted daughters, she's till struggles but is a great young woman doing the best she can.😁 So this little guy makes 21😳 Sorry Regina no more adoptions ...lol oh wait I forgot. Ya, we just adopted a dog to keep little guy company🤣🤣 OH my life is nothing I planned lol🤣
First time watching your video. And I loved it 😊... You sound like just one of us . Just like a girl friend who's explaining how she did make this...And not like someone who knows better than the rest... I hope you know what I mean. English is not my main language 😅... Thank you x
Aw thank you. Yes I know what you mean and I appreciate your comment. I do not know everything. I'm learning too and hopefully you all want to join me on my journey. Please teach me anything you learn that can help me😊 I hope you will share your creations with me😊
Adorable! I had to chuckle a bit due to I had just picked up the lil cones yesterday for another project that I am doing. What was the spray you used on the cone to prevent the cement from sticking to it? Thank you for sharing your creative treasures with us.
Venna’s, you know that patience thing you’re always talking about…? I just lost two gnomes because I was impatient with the setting up time. Hard to gauge but I will try again…tomorrow! 🙄😊
@@VennasNature Tried again first thing this morning, before my coffee! Success…then I got cocky and destroyed another one. Sigh…it’s becoming personal now. 😂
@@carolbrown5516 No they do not always make it. Try this. leave the top open no cement for about an inch. make sure you oil it well and when it is set but not all dry see if you can release it from the cone and then let it finish setting. Does that make sense?
Maria I think you can use portland cement and fine sand and make this little doll. It will just take a bit longer to set. Try it and let me know how it worked out.
I can't think of a better way to start my day than with a Venna video and my coffee! She's adorable, thank you for another great tutorial!

That kind of cement is not readily available here in the Philippines😔

Thank you! Since Dollar Tree is so big could you please tell us what department you found the cones in?
Hello Cookiejug😁 Yes, I got them in the toy section. Little boys use them when they play cars I guess.
I was able to find them in the school section. Thank u
