Lale Westvind seems like a really cool creator, I haven't read any of her works yet though. I am a fan of your videos. I have been watching more lately and am surprised to see not a single video about 'Yoshihiro Tatsumi'? Is this just a glaring omission on your part? Will you also do videos of 'Kamui Den' and 'Ashita no Joe' once released? another question: how do you get/read so many books? Do publishers send you copies?
Lale has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Definitely get you some. I don't know if "glaring omission" is the right way to put it, so much as, the world is full of awesome stuff and I am focused on current creators. Sean is the one that turns me on to the historical manga. Sadly, I don't get much sent my way. I have been blessed the last few years to have a second job that allows me to splurge, but, since I do pay for it all I have to pick and choose. Another reason things that came into print before the channel started don't get covered. They are on my Amazon wish list but I will always prioritize a new release, no matter how "important" a work is.
@@clubgrubbug Fair enough, apologies if I was rude! It's just crazy that every time I find a new creator that you've already made a video on them so I had to ask. The channel is very bad for my wallet. But luckily I already know my tastes, so despite all the fantastic artists, I likely won't pick a lot of this up like you do. I just found out about Pat Aulisio for example, looks way up my alley. May I suggest 'Makinaphobe' by Rafael Zaiats for a newer book?
This is Sean! Brandon and I already did a video on Kamui, I am sure we'll have Something on Joe and Kamui :) I have a Tatsumi library, good stuff! I bet Carson would dig Push Man and maybe Drifting Life too.... Maybe I'll send him a copy of both ? :)
@@LivingtheLine Awesome! Can't wait. I do think Carson would quite enjoy them too! I really appreciate the work you guys do. I only have both 'Plaza' and 'Moonray 1&2' but both are spectacular. Graham is one of my favorites. The Rabagoo Race from Garresh also looks right up my alley and totally stunning. You guys are becoming one of the best publishers here in the US. Keep doing what you're doing! I'm not as much a fan of the older horror manga, but it's still cool stuff. And P.S I do hope to see more Yokoyama reprinted. Such a cool creator!
@@Diraldir Haha, sorry for the hit to the wallet. I am probably gonna have to slow down now that I own a home, so maybe some wallet relief for all of us😅
I like granular printing discussions somedays. Thank you.
My pleasure, obvioisly😅
