After 3 decades Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen returned to Helloween, all hatchets were buried and now they are a 7 member band with two vocalists - Andi Deris and Michael Kiske, and three guitar players, while Kai also sings in harmonies and adds some phrases here and there, but he’s mostly a guitarist. Their latest self titled album Helloween (2021) is among the best in their entire discography and you should give it a listen. The entire album is an all killer - no filler type of deal, there are no ballads and there’s not a dull moment. Some songs are slower, some are a bit more melodic and upbeat but overall it’s heavy as hell. Definitely check it out

He sings for his own band Palast, which is a complete vibe shift, because it's a mix of rock and electronica.
All three vocalists can be heard here, but Kai Hansen is more in the background. His vocals add some more distortion so that the vocals don't become cheesy. This song was written and composed by Michael Weikath. All the three songs by him are great and speedy power metal with warm melodies. Each member composed their songs and you can hear their songwriting styles. Kai Hansen only composed one song, but it's the epic of the album. Please, show this to Alexia. I would like to know if this song is too fast for her or not. Andi Deris is a main songwriter of Helloween since 1994. The core band have been together since 2005. No line-up changes. They don't like to be called Halloween, because the American US Power Metal band HALLOWEEN tried to sue Helloween for stealing their logo.
