y'all I'm realizing I completely overlooked specifically mentioning another Bruxa tip, although you may notice it in the video - try (or at least start) with input sources that are relatively low harmonic content. Sine/triangle or even dull square waves. I find these leave more "space" for the high frequency character of Bruxa to stand out more. Add some FM or wave shaping to push it a little more and work your way up in complexity. A loud low sine will clip in a wonderful way.
So so cool, excited to get my Bruxa next week! James Cigler's old Livewire videos are what helped me decide what modules to buy when I started modular back in 2010 :)
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC My pleasure sir, I always learn something new and interesting from your patch demos. Like Sarah Belle Reid's vids, It's not "This is music" it's always about how to get interesting and unique sounds out of machines. Really refreshing/
Lovely patches James, Thanks 🎃 mines allegedly on its way soon. can't wait to try that awesome double-witch experiment. witches have always luvd to congregate throughout history,... the Time/Filter is right my friends let the cauldrons fill and spill into it 👻
I am a *die hard* DPO fan. It would probably be the VCO I would keep if I had to give everything else up. BUT, I'm finding the Spectraphon is what I will reach for first these days.

amazing sounds, well done. Such an interesting and rich sound character created with fairly low-fi delay unit.
Love the patches
Sounds incredible - I can't wait to spend sometime with this module.
He’s back.
You got that right :D
Truly amazing!
Man I cannot wait to get mine. Hoping it gets here in time for Halloween!
Well James sold me with that classic DPO tutorial.. Let's see how this goes....
Very cool!
Can't wait to get mine.
You shouldn't have to wait long now!
Nice. Soon!
Wow, that last patch is almost like a tape loop degrading and rebuilding
The ending!!!
Cool!
Good stuff.
Thanks for watching!
