TERRIBLE SCORE, BRILLIANT DAY! (Eventing vlog)

- It's time for another eventing vlog, and today it's all about Wilma! After a not-so-confident run at out first 80cm earlier in the year, I was really pleased to be stepping her back up and feeling much more ready for it at Waverton House.
Although our final score didn’t quite reflect the effort, it was a fantastic day out for Wilma with loads of positive takeaways. It’s all part of the journey, and I'm genuinely so excited about Wilma's future. She showed so much promise, and I know her day will come.
Join us for this eventing adventure, and see how Wilma tackled the course. Despite the challenges (the British summer isn't being kind to us) the progress was evident, and it left me feeling very optimistic about what's to come.
I hope you enjoy watching, and please don't forget to hit that like button, leave a comment, and subscribe to stay updated with our journey. Your support means the world, and we can’t wait to share more milestones with you!

oh wow Wilma's coat has gotten so much more vibrant!!
OMG, Hobbes: "You don't get that long for murder. I must be due for paroral?" so dark and funny. Wilma, the wild beast, looks fabulous, Meg. Well done :)
You could try losing the grackle as there are lots of nerves on the nose which some horses just find too much - but the test was tidy as a whole she is coming along really well
"shes not going to go anywhere"
Welcome back Hobbit, it isn't the same without you.
An old trick to protect stud holes is pack them with cotton wool wiped round a vaseline tub. Quick and easy to pull out, tap and stud up, no grit or stones to remove. 😊
She seems to be getting the hang of it all now! Once she stops being so green and gets more confident I think she's going to be a cracking little horse. Xx
Be careful with your leg Meg….. you already know that less leg is more
Poor Victorian child. LOL
Hobbit, turn the heating on!!! 😂
Hobs is so frigging hilarious 😅
Wilma looks beautiful, she is so well turned out, well done for bringing her on so patiently x
Wilma is a smart little horse. Reckon she will go far with you. Well done all 🐴❤
Wilma looks gorgeous, so shiny! Good work, team Elphick.
Wilma looks absolutely stunning 😍
Tell Hobbit she is a star. We want her on more eventing VLOGs . Well done Wilma. Have you seen Horse Agility? It faces horses with tons of unexpected things. A bit unconventional but it may help her processing ability unmounted. There is a society that runs it. Also a good video!
What a lovely girl is Wilma!! She is going to blossom into an outstanding event horse. I can hardly wait to see how she transitions into the adult Wilma woo!! I will be just thrilled to watch that progress...
Well done Wilma and Meg!!
Yes love the energy when you said when Wilma is at badminton 😁 can’t wait to see you both together riding that epic corse
Being as old as I am, I really enjoy seeing Hobbit on these trips. Wilma's clearly more relaxed and confident overall, but needs to learn to self-calm (like so many toddlers!) (Not that she toddles.) She's lovely mover. I'm still a bit on the home-bred team, but Wilma is definitely moving forward.
