Noooooo!!!! 😭 what no way he’s gone 😭
What!? He passed away? Is this true?
@@ronzsidz6520 sadly, it’s true. Heart attack
It just comes to show that our days here are limited and that it can all end in an instant.
Appreciate each day, no matter how good or bad. Pursue your goals and dreams to max. Never quit, never falter, never doubt. Your time is the only thing you truly ever own.
Now go and create.
I found out just now. What
The importance of learning foundations. Once you understand the game you can bend the rules.
Yes applied For everything
So true. I read from legendary illustrator Andrew Loomis that drawing objects in boxes is one of the core fundamental excercises you should do. I've recently started drawing items, even still life objects in boxes. My line quality/proportions/perspective has improved dramatically in the last several months.
Drawing lines around objects, cross contouring is also so fundamental. It improves the 3D quality of your work.
@Nate Jones morph perspective on objects you’re observing - or already know
Like a giant stuffed animal destroying a town
Or a car disassembled
The under side of the object floating in perspective
If you look at Kim’s other drawings you’ll see many examples
And once you understand the rules, you can bend ze game, Mason (Black Ops videogame reference hehe). ;P
when I see him and how he draws I feel I have no hands
yea....
I feel the same here. **wiggles fingers aimlessly**
i feel i have no brain.

The fact the man drew all that in 25 minutes. A true master at the craft. So much respect for him.
It is funny how many want to believe in the existence devil without a second thought and and deny the existense of God, Jesus whom has appeared in the flesh in history to save man kind,
Before saying too many wrong stuff,
1, every historian agrees in the Bibles chronology of events, and i as a believer know it is the truth and accept every detail, as we all know it is the True word of God,

⭕3,and there are many tangible facts , that the world cant even hide and explain, miracles shown to simultaneously to thousands of people to strength their faith (Example, make a research about the "fatima incident") who changed termondous amount of people to Ultimate christ believers in a day,
It is a not very distant history.
⭕4,please dont let Satan triumph over you, as u are repelling the Cross, and denying what Jesus has done for you in the cross,
Even Iphones siri isnt programmed to not answer the question "Who is Jesus", other worldly false deitys, who is buddha, krishna, mohammed, are unswered with great detail.
It is because the major corporations (so called illuminati elites) serve satan and dont want you to become nowhere to the truth, but wants you tongo to the false worldly leaders such as buddha ,mohammed, satan e.t,c
Here is a video proof

5)The Holy Bible has already, morethan 2000 prophecies fullfilled to date,
And Jesus, explains in a termondous amount of detail, what it is like to live in the end days, before he finally comes to reign over the world for eternity, with his beloved creations,
And we are seeing it unfold day by day, as the world is heading to one world the devils 666 beast's govt, as the pop cultures , works hard day by day to brainwash people and promote satan, 666 subliminal message e.t.c
If you really want to know the truth, u can study israels history, and learn the bible,

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

So sad to hear of his passing. You will be missed. One of the greatest artists who have ever lived
Hard to believe he went so soon. A young, healthy man with years left to give...very sad. Thank you for being such a prolific and unselfish creator. You left us with a lot Mr Gi. RIPx
Kim Jung Gi already established a 3D map guide to his mind from years and years of drawing. Trully a talent.
Kevin Javellana truly*

Skills
all of that effort and skills he had developed over the years just for people like you to call it " talent" ugh
This dude pays attention to the things he sees.
Yes. He has said so himself. Since his young years. And whats more he commits it to memory and tries to understand how things are built. That way he can mix and match illustrations from his head. Truly fantastic.
Watching him draw that motorcycle was the most mind boggling thing I've ever seen

Or year one
Doh!!
Or Batman pretending to be Homer Simpsons.

Here's the thing I get comfortable with while watching and listening to Jung Gi while drawing.
This man isn't talented, I mean, ofcourse he is...but he doesn't have this inborn natural capabilities to draw. He instead, constantly mentions the fact that he had drawn and Observed things way more than normal people do, and that he had drawn, literally drawn more than he had done anything else in his life, was terrible in school, didn't have any other ambition...purely committed to drawing and painting...it was his lifeline.
All this boils down to the simple fact that You need to practice more than you did the day before, 10 times more, you have to look around more, you have to Visualize more...the imagination is gonna come along the way itself.
I was introduced to Jung gi a year and a half back, I wasn't used to much practice back then, although I was still good, but not good enough to the point where it didn't make me anxious and worried about myself when I watched this man draw. But ever since, as much as I have watched Kim JUNG gi, and as much as I have practiced along the way...I have just realised that this man isn't God, he is a Man who's practiced way more than any other human being we know of probably has... it makes me much secure now, with my progress kept in hand, that I can probably reach this level of Perfection someday, and so can you, only if you push away all the excuses you have on your shoulders and Just practice 10 times more than you do now.
The question is, "Do you really need it?"
It's called the 10 000 hours rule.
It's called determination and hard work
I don't fear a man who practiced 1000 kicks 1 time, rather I fear the man practiced 1 kick 1000 times. - Bruce Lee
@@handpowers Exactly. KJG says it all the time. He practiced so much to the point he basically developed a resource database memory filled with tons of reference. & When ppl say "hardwork" wellll idk, art is not painful, it's quite fun actually. Practicing is not necessarly an hard task when done smartly. Consistency and Discipline are the hard parts.
@@MegumiHayashida who told you Hard work was supposed to be Painful?
I thought this man secretly had a perspective grid in his glasses, BUT HE DOESN'T!!
He removes his glasses whilenhe draws
It's probably inside his eyeballs. *Look harder*

Big thanks for taking the time out to upload these parts of his stream, man.
The most impressive part to me is his absolute control of his lines. I can't imagine having that kind of control, it's incredible! Need a guide on *that*
Practice practice practice
That’s a lifetime of experience right there. There’s no way you could except to be as good as him without the same level of dedication

REST IN PEACE. KIM JUNG GI. HE WAS A MASTER WITH HIS TALENT OF DRAWING . !!!
I'm still learning how to draw the boxes...
How to draw in perspective:
Step 1: draw a perfect 3D cube.
Step 2: draw in perspective!
This is giving me that soothing feeling as if someone was tracing my hand when I was younger
Watching him draw brings me life

He's been drawing as a kid. Don't worry.
A true master of the craft of art, he will forever be missed. Rest in Peace Kim Jung Gi
Thanks to all this tutorial From teacher Kim. This is a treasure for all mankind. R.I.P
The thing that amazes me the most is the sheer control he has of his pen with his hand, notice how he does not miss a single trace and rarely does a double to thicken the line. That's skill right there.
His mastery of perspective is uncanny
very talented, i can't help but smile through out the lesson

This was very informative, thanks again for posting the shortened version.
You know that moment when ur drawing a perspective and click it goes from flat to perspective you want? Think of being able to see in your minds eye and then send to your hand any image from any angle conceivableits just wild to me. This man will be a legend forever. One of my very favs.

I was thinking about him just now. Someone I love passed away recently, so I've been meditating about the afterlife and thinking of all the good people that passed away. And UA-cam recommend this to me. What a coincidence.

Wow, I wish I learned this in art class. Even though the drawings are so simple they have so much character already 👍🏽
I just smoked and I've been entranced for 20+ min at this dude just sketching/teaching.
Thanks for making these videos!
Is this Broots Waymbe?
On some real notes, the way this guy was able to visualize everything he draws is absolutely insane. It’s like he legitimately modeled every aspect of whatever he is drawing in his head, then can flip it, rotate it, scale it, and whatever else like he had 3DS Max installed into his brain.
I watch his these videos over and over again trying to pick up little tricks what not.. his drawing skills are one thing, absolute expert level. His ability to visualize is another. I feel like that is 100% a gift that you either have or don’t have.
An absolute legend. RIP.
Yep. God given. You can't learn this.
He has such an amazing eye for detail and human anatomy. Awesome Artist. One of the Greatest. I've just discovered his works. I've been in a box (metaphorically speaking). I'm dealing with a lot of medical issues.
I'd stop while I'm ahead after I drew the box.

Long Live the Memory of this Master.
This is so helpful. I have been self-teaching drawing and animation and my characters have been looking very uncanny despite proportions being spot-on (Reilly method). I realized the reason is PERSPECTIVE. I need to practice drawing some boxes.
Rip sir. We shall cherish these gifts youve left behind forever.
Amazing. Makes perfect sense but you really have to train for many years to do it so intuitively.

The third car example is in improvised curvilinear perspective, which mimics a fish eye lens on a camera. Really hard to pull off convincingly without any structure.
Think of it as curved one point perspective and it becomes easier. Kim Jung Gi picks the alignment of the other 4 points around an 'eye height' line/point which would be the focal point of the wide lens. Like the third Batman head. Gives you the feeling that you're closer to the action. Like it's besides you, and you're looking at it closely. But at the end of the day it's all in his mind, that's what makes him so special. He can flip things around and break them apart, such wealth of observational knowledge.
"Jung Gi Juice" is a million dollar idea.
Rest in peace, I wish you could still teaching 😢
