Saw some dude kickstart charging handles for a durability test, radian supposedly felt the same after 50 hard kicks. Others were pooping out at 10 And if 1 hand goes down in a pinch ambi is nice To be real tho its just slick as fuck and works for my fde accent rifle but those points helped me spend the dough lol
thank you for being the first review to not say "yea everyone knows milspec is garbage" really a misleading thing to say. your explanation is on point.
I’m left handed. It wasn’t a mistake for me. If I was right handed I would have just kept the standard milspec. Since they are expensive, I do still have a milspec on my other AR. For now
"Looking cool, is it important? Well yeah, to an extent." Lol appreciate the honesty! Function is always the most important than style, but if all else is equal, the one with better style wins every time 😂 And when you can get *both,* all the better! This is the same reason I've purchased things like the Geissele Maritime Bolt Catch and plan to buy the new TMAGs that Magpul will be releasing soon.
Great vid bro! My big concern for an upgrade was I use a Holosun Gold dot w/ a 3X magnifier. The handle that came with my AR feels that if I pull back from the side it’ll mess up my system cause of the sights I have covering the top of my handle. Lucky me you mentioned my exact reasoning and went into great detail on the Radian charging handle!
I run an LPVO and just got the Radian and it is a huge improvement. The fact that it lets me even just use my right hand to run the handle on the outside is so nice and effortless. I am keeping the A2 milspec one as a spare/backup. Is the radian worth the money? I would say yes. Though the thing with Radian is that’s their best thing for the AR-15 platform. The other accessories and upgrades they have I’ve seen and heard they are just ok.
Why is looking cool so important? If you like the look of something, you’re going to train with it more, because its cool. You train with something more, you’ll get better with it. Period
I run a Breeks Warhammer. Cheap price but not cheap. I used to run a Strike Industries T-Bone, I didn't like it. If the Radian had bigger wings yes. Gas issues are not a big deal imho
When building an AR , the 3 items you shouldn’t be a cheap ass on is the charging handle, the bcg, and the barrel. Buy the best whatever it costs. and I’d even argue to not cheap out on the trigger group.
As a left handed shooter who runs an LPVO with a qd suppressor, thanks for completely justifying my purchase.

I run Radian Raptors (and Talons) on all my AR platforms for all the pros that you stated. Well worth their price.
Yup as a lefty had to go with one great charging handle for the money 💯

Exactly. It’s a mental thing.

Is it ambi??
Just watched a vid today on the War Ham r..love the gas cuts inside and on the outside .95% sold on it.
I added a scope to my rifle and it is hard to grab the charging handle now so I’ll be upgrading mine soon
Nice
The milspec is too narrow for me to reach and pull on the optic if have
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
most aftermarket charging handles and others parts are always better. the mill spec standard stuff is on and works but i always upgrade everything.

You can make an argument to not cheap on anything now
@@undisputed6034 agreed
LPVO definitely makes milspec hard to use, especially with gloves
bought 2 xmas eve 99 each
