My earliest memory of this song was flying home from Canada to Australia on Qantas.This was playing just after taking off from Honolulu on the way home to Sydney January 1990 coming home from a school cultural exchange on the QF4.Missed out on it on the QF26 out of Vancouver to Honolulu a few hours earlier.
Great album. I still have the signed copy that Kate signed at HMV Parramatta in 1989. She was doing a signing for this album and I was working security for the store. Beautiful lady and still listen to Bedroom Eyes and Love Dimension. Its been thirty years and I still remember that night fondly.

Memory lane! I remember this song so much from the Brave album which I was so excited to get for my 10th birthday! I never had singing lessons as a kid, but always say I had some great 'teachers' in those who I listened to and sang to over and over again throughout my formative years! And I must say now at age 40, I still model my higher registry (being somewhere between alto and mezzo-soprano) on yours. I get all great kinds of 'you remind me ofs' but one day I'm just going to tell 'em it's Kate Ceberano that inspires that sound! One day I'll buy one of your beautiful guitars...for now I reminisce these songs as geez they are so uplifting during these times! Such talent and inspiration.

Yes, I have come to understand this song as a Scientology 'awakening' song. As I understand her mother was/is a Scientologist, and I guess, sadly, Ceberano found her way to the 'faith' through some celebrity prodding. It's a great song, wasted on a cult mentality. I really love the song, but knowing what prompted it, I just can't listen to it with any REAL love anymore.
