I lived in Roswell for 20 years worked at the bus plant that took most the air base. Built greyhound bus and RTS Intercity. The UFO crash really happened. You got to live there meet several generations of people to get the real story. The bottomless lakes state park is cool.
Some cool history there Rush one day we're going to have to meet and talk about it I was born January 13th 1926 still kicking I was a guard at Los Alamos during 1942. 1946 stories I could tell you about the atomic energy commission the Manhattan Project love watch thank you so much for the Memories
RUSS! You the man. I blasted right by area 51 last year (ok, 45 mph) missed all that nothing. I better put this one on my list though. Hope you didn't show everything 😄. 👍Roswell. Those folks are making an effort all right.
I grew up in Montana and this year I’m taking my Wife back Home for a vacation we live in WI now so I was looking for videos to show my wife what to expect and we ran across your Channel we are not just following your Montana Videos anymore we are following you all over You do an awesome Job and you are living a life that we Dream of lol Thank You Be Safe
Russ, I am glad you stopped in. Now I don't have to. I'll read the book(s) and skip the movie(s). It looks like Roswell itself would be more interesting than the museum. Now that antique shop you passed, for instance...
“okay I believe!” (Roswell Museum)…you crack me up! I’ve spent the night many times in Roswell but never saw any REAL aliens or strange happenings! ~Jim~
Hey Russ, I live 15 minutes from Kecksburg, PA., Which is called the Roswell of PA. The sighting happened in 1965. The tiny community has a UFO festival every year with speakers on all sorts of paranormal stuff, including Big Foot! And of course a gift shop ( I did buy a T-shirt). I love your channel. Happy Travels!!
We went to Roswell on our way to Carlsbad Caverns. That is why that store was selling caving gear. Roswell also has great art museum with lovely art inside and a whole area devoted to Robert Goddard, the rocket scientist. The Alien Conspiracy people are positive the Aliens came to Roswell to kidnap Goddard. There is a strong art community there. It's a lovely town.
We Love RVerTV - Russ Too Cool 4 School . RVerTV - Grand Journey Thru U.S.A. - Grand Videos - Grand Music. Happy Trails - U.S.A. - Russ - RVerTV Fans . Thank you Russ.
I only visit NM from the west coast to discover and explore karst. Yes, the Bottomless Lakes State Park outside Roswell, might school interested readers. Not to mention the NM ;pumps that gushed out Troglodytes. From a water table Roswell may yet share with them.
When the Honda Civic first arrived in the USA I purchased one outright using cash. It took me to Roswell from California. I arrived when a parade of pimpled people drive their tricked- up old cars up and down past the Courthouse. I'd had my doors painted to look like the flag of Japan. Those who followed me didn't quit until I went east of the Pecos River. Yup, the Honda Civic was their first encounter.
Btw, if you don’t read the information in the museum you haven’t really experienced it. It’s not about visuals, it’s about information. Come back sometime and do some research. There’s a lot of history here. Thanks for stopping by.
WOW..!!! That's the cleanest, neatest, well maintained and safest looking city/town in NM I have ever seen..!! I think I'm on another planet.. LOL! Considering what is flying around unidentified, that museum is 'right on'...
Little bit of trivia for you. While the 579th Strategic Missile Squadron didn't have anything to do with aliens, it had much to do with Roswell and Walker AFB (former Roswell Army Airfield). The 579th, headquartered at Walker, consisted of 12 Atlas Missile silos dispersed around Roswell. Coming into Roswell on US-70/380, you passed by two of them. Leaving Roswell on US-380, you passed by two more. All four are approximately 1,000 feet off the north side of the highway. The Wikipedia article on "579th Strategic Missile Squadron" has a map of all twelve locations, plus Lat/Lon for each. If you try to visit one, better wear a bulletproof vest, they are all under private ownership, now.
I wonder what this town would look like if the UFO incident had not occurred. And those people who remembered being probed at sometime or another may be confusing their visit to their proctologist. After all, they do sedate you and, well, you know.
The thing on the 579th Missile Sq is probably because they were stationed out of Walker AFB (the former Roswell Army Air Field). They had 6 Atlas F missiles in silos
The museum is the old Roswell movie theater. I use to go to the movies back in the late 60's . I went to NMMI so had to walk all the way from school to the theater. Old Times flash back. Thanks
My wife went to NMMI in the late 90s and when I saw it for the first time a few years ago, she said nothing was the same. Place has everything now but mostly a tourist trap

Thanks for the video. Tripadvisor has close ups of all the wall exhibits. 1909 photos.
Even the street lights downtown have alien eyes! LOL!
Thank you for time
14:30-The next time you go to Sturgis you need to make a trip over to Devil’s Tower where they filmed the movie Close Encounters.

Your festival has Bigfoot as a speaker every year? Far out!
P.T. Barnum stated " A fool is born every day and most of them live." These places thrive on fools money. Enjoy
Isn't Kecksburg in the Tuscarora Mountains?
Great.
Need to add some interviews with locals who had actually witnessed.
Great video. Thanks.
always a good morning when you wake up to a RVerTV video
I went to Roswell last summer with my kids drove all the way from GA it's actually a nice little town
We Love RVerTV/
That was out of this world! Thanks Russ!!
I love New Mexico! I guess the alien stuff is all part of "The land of Enchantment" logo about the state.
Russ I don't think really know what is out there. But I am glad you enjoyed it.

I just looked in your store for the fridge & freezer - do you have those on there somewhere & I'm just missing? Thx
It does attract a surprising amount of tourists. I go through that down often and its really a joke to the locals. But people do come.
Interesting!! on May the Fourth 😀
Thanks Russ 🚐🛸🛸
That was about the right amount of Roswell. Bet if you stay 2 to 3 streets away from the main strip, Roswell would be a nice small town.
Roswell is one of the most dangerous towns in USA per capita
My beautiful home town, where I was born and raised until I was 18! ❤️
That would suck to travel to cool places and don’t have anyone to share your time and to make great memories with!
Wow, I will be out that way soon!
I only visit NM from the west coast to discover and explore karst.
Yes, the Bottomless Lakes State Park outside Roswell, might school

Rozewell is much bigger than I expected. Traffic was heavy on the main drag through it. Nice, clean, pretty town.👍👍
We Love RVerTV.
Yes it has been growing since I passed through in the '90's.
Thank you: That is too cool! I am going!
Make sure you visit the Spacewalk on 2nd street on your next visit
I am glad you stopped there.
Hey, you blew right past Gort! I guess you’re not a sci-fi guy. May the force be with you.
Thats funny when I was in Roswell I thought the courthouse was the coolest thing there...lol

Pretty neat small town. That's a nicely done museum. Fun stop over. 😊👍
Yee haa welcome to Texas! Thanks for the look around Roswell.
It great we always dare to imagine what is, Roswell is on the vanguard of these stories, facts just need to try and keep up.
Not going on the Bucket list. To much hype. I would stop only if it was on my way to some where neat but Thanks Russ for showing it.
So many trees!
"Looks like a bad hairday for them huh..."
Nice Russ
We Love RVerTV.
Air Force Dad was stationed there once upon a time in 1949.
Another medium rare town, no wait,... it’s well done!

We were glad we stopped there a few years ago, after the caverns👍🏻
Roswell is a cool place to visit.
Don't bring that wind with you, perfect day in southeast Oklahoma.
Thanks for keeping the videos coming, we really enjoy them.
remember to check rear view mirror real well
Hey, I live there!
Did you get out to the crash site? How about the street lights looking like an alien head! 🤣
I’m a crazy souvenir shopper, I would have been in every store buying things I don’t really need. 🤷🏻♀️
Last time I was in Roswell , beanie babies were popular.
I wonder what this town would look like if the UFO incident had not occurred. And those people who remembered being probed at sometime or another may be confusing their visit to their proctologist. After all, they do sedate you and, well, you know.
I loved seeing the alien themes in the shops.
The thing on the 579th Missile Sq is probably because they were stationed out of Walker AFB (the former Roswell Army Air Field). They had 6 Atlas F missiles in silos
Thanks for the tour. Roswell didn't look anything like I expected. It's much bigger , I thought it would be a smaller town .
Same for me. I don’t know why but I’ve always assumed it was a small town.
Roswell is also home of New Mexico Military Institute. ( a mini West Point Academy)
Hey Russ!!! "Don't" get to "FAR" from "THE BEAST" They may "BEAM" You "UP"!!! Be Safe!!!
UFO in the opener 😆 🤣 😂
Thanks for taking us there!

All the buildings are exactly the same, downtown. Just the names all changed.

I love all the small towns who have the historical court houses !! Thx for the video
You don't want to be at "room temperature"!

Believe or not, something happened in Roswell. Maybe one of these days we will be told what.
