Not the roswell I grew up in for sure!!!I lived at the base and our lives were swimming at the pool riding our bikes staying out playing football til dark and recently dances!!!loved my child hood there!when I go back now I'm lost... the base is a ghetto and the town is empty!!so sad!!
I lived in Roswell in the 1980s. No one really talked about the Roswell Incident and UFOS until Robert Stack came into town with Unsolved Mysteries. Now its UFOS this and UFOs that.
When I visit my dead I've seen property that no longer has the former business and residential structures of people known to me. I do own relics of same and my childhood. Like a Mexico-made saddle with silver fittings much too small for me today. And I do go look at the East Grand Plains Elementary School as it is today. I'm happy not to have any NMMI history but did serve in a foreign war by volunteering. Also served the USA Military-Industrial Complex overseas. I've retired from the Public Sector.

NMMI has built battle conditions equal to whatever is happening. Like, cadet built sandbag projects during the Vietnam Era. So, what's a response at NMMI for Putin's thermonuclear threat?
I have lived and been state employed where if Interstate traffic is halted by an accident your highway robbery will come knocking; where loud chase sirens howl nightly without fail; you know an election is about to happen when pothole repairs are renewed; steel street manhole covers frequently are blown off by belching flames; river piracy has resumed. But, as usual, your Roswell by comparison still seems boring.
