Being a Goodra main (former Blastoise main) this video perfectly encapsulates my feelings as one. The amount of times I’ve held back the enemy team from Regieleki so that my team can grab them, only for them to fight with me instead is ridiculous. I’m really hoping this video can make some sort of impact on the unite community because while I’ll always gonna be there to play defender, most won’t use me to their advantage. Amazing video, dude!

“Respect your defender’s space,” and don’t none of y’all forget it! Just standing behind the defender makes any attacker infinitely more threatening.
I think as defenders we have to remember not to split too far away from our attackers. Pushing enemies away from your team can be helpful, but there’s only so much you or your attackers can accomplish alone.
Look at your mini map! Choosing teamwork is always a good play!

I love Umbreon but I’m tired of playing him every game because no wants to play defender
FELTTTT, it stinks when nobody wants to play defender and we have a team full of squishies
One additional tip: As a defender most of us need also some farm especially on lane. How should we tank all the damage when were completely under leveled?
I agree as well! But if the team is following up on of your engages and winning the team fights, you’re getting levels that way and from scores afterwards as well!

The ones that need this video will not see it, and the ones that are seeing the video, most will assume they are the best player in their team so they know what they are doing and not follow any of these tips.
My goal is to hopefully reach those players! I feel the disconnect between a lot of the player base and they don’t necessarily need to be tied together, but educating as we can is always a great start

It’s unfortunate too, because I LOVE playing defender. Setting up plays for the Carries is super fun unless… they don’t follow lol
Main goodra, I'm tired of zoning for my team and being easily ganked by the enemy team without my team doing anything by being in the base without following me to advance
That’s honestly my biggest frustration as a defender, WE JUST WANT SOME LOVE. Give us one teammate I swear LOL
Ttar and Metagross should also appear here since they have tough bodies
I love how bulky TTar and metagross are but they take so long to get online that it’s hard to rely on them in the early game as late game scalers
