I got the Standard, in the same color you're showing in the video. Can't speak about the 107 vs 114 difference, but for a big bike this thing with the 107 gets up to speed pretty quickly. I am doing the recommended break in by keeping the RPM low, so for now I really haven't opened it up. I actually prefer chrome, so that part doesn't bother me one bit.

I have had the 107 ultra limited. Now a🎉 road glide limited 114. I did a stage 2 on the 107. Stage one on the 114 so far. They feel about even power wise. 107 down low but the 114 has longer legs. 117 is a torque monster 😮
I feel the extra torque in the 114
I would get the standard if black was my color choice with the larger entertainment screen option. If you plan to do a performance upgrade you will have plenty of power and use that 6 thousand dollars different toward your motor build.

For the difference in price on the standard 107, I would add a cam, tune, exhaust, filter, stage 2 speakers and other goodies to blackout and would be close to the price of a special.

i prefer the chrome on the standard 107, and the bags like you said i would put a 2 into 1 also. after some research i found a screaming eagle big bore kit that lets you upgrade a 107 to a 119 for about $1k. it turns a 114 into a 122. bad thing about a 107 is that in order to upgrade to a 131 you have to change out the crank. good to know if you plan on that. for myself i think a 119 is enough plus i like the chrome look more and all the 114s i have seen are blacked out. i will say the blacked out motor doesnt look bad IF the body has color to it. it is nice that you can upgrade to a bigger infotainment screen on the standard. the RoadGlides are a hot seller. i bet you are iching to try a RG3 arent you lol. good vid

107 has more torque off the line… once you get the RPMs up a bit higher the 114 is better . Had a 18’ ultra limited that I rode 25k then a added a woods 22x to and dynoed.. it was a stump puller!! Have the2023 RG Special with the114 now.

As you mentioned, if you like the blacked out look you have to get a special or ST. It’s way too much time and money trying to black out a chrome bike.

You seem to be conflicted. It's either stealth or it pops. It don't do both. And why any motorsicklist would want to be stealth is a mystery. They can't see us out there to begin with, so you want to look more like the black road? Brilliant! They'll never see us coming.
The stealth look pops for some including me. The look is subjective. Not everyone like a bright shiny motorcycle. Why do you think the blacked out look is more popular.
@@theinfinitryda Because 1) People are lazy and don't like cleaning chrome 2) It's a fad perpetrated by good marketing, 3) it's easy to accessorize your purse and belt with black. LOL P.S. Why are the gauge bezels and push rod tubes still chrome? Epic
