Magneton with Lt. Surge is like a really scuffed Gardevoir lol. I've always been a big believer in playing decks you like over optimal lists, even if it's not as good the fact you enjoy it means you'll pilot it better. Or at least, that's how I feel. I put a lot of value on play experience. This list definitely looks better to me than the other one.
I'm not sure how the paper tcg works, but I feel like Mistry should be restricted like the other gym leaders, (Gyarados, Starmie, Blastoise?) then you can introduce gym leaders from other regions that target different pokemon too. Maybe that's not as healthy though because the decks just build themselves at that point.
Thought your breakdown of your deckbuilding thoughts were super well communicated!

Been cracking Pikachu packs for this deck. Still waiting, patiently of course

Misty does feel out of place considering the other ones from this set
Are there any decent Grass decks in pocket?
Yeah Im just waiting on a second Venusaur ex
If you could explain why you're doing the things you're doing it would help me a lot 🙏 have a good one
This deck might be fun, but not strong. None of the top Pikachu ex decks run Raichu or magneton. Just look at tournament results.
It is *way* too early in the games lifespan to be saying anything isnt good simply based on whats done well at a tournament 🤣
This implies Pikachu needs Blitzel
