*I’ve gone 4 months without forcing RDR2 into a video. Time to correct that.* This might be my favourite video series that I make. It lets me get a bit more creative than usual, and I hope that comes across! I do have a normal easter egg video coming soon, for those who were missing them. In the mean time, I really hope you enjoy this one!
About an Easter egg on rdr2. The Watson family who is in a cabin in Big Valley is a reference to the Daltons in the French comic Lucky Luke. The Daltons are 4 bandit brothers and their mother whom they name Ma.
I thought the detail there was going to be that the test area you were in was a 1:1 representation the house of lead DNF developer George Broussard. Id software did a similar thing for levels in Doom.
Love attention to details in video games… I found one a while ago in The Evil Within 2, not many people talk about it, I might even be the first one to document it: After you hide during your first encounter with Stefano in Chapter 2, wait until he leaves the door and follow him, backtracking all the way down to the first door of the chapter; when you approach said door you’ll hear a locking sound and Stefano’s laugh (meaning that he in fact noticed you when you arrived). Posted it on Reddit on the r/GamingDetails sub, my account has since been banned though. Anyway if you actually read this message, hopefully it’ll get featured in a next video. Love your stuff, keep up the good work!
I just love this channel so much. The editing, the atmosphere... it feels like early 2010's when you discovered your first easter egg. I hope they'll always keep this feeling
Speaking about random details in Batman games... in Arkham City during the Solomon Grundy boss fight if you shoot Grundy with a Remote Electrical Charge blast after his health has been drained it'll refill his health bar for a moment as Electricity is what revives him.
Such a huge fan of yours! As an editor myself, it’s so awesome to see your stuff. As a gamer, it’s incredible to catch all these details! Speaking of which, recently played through the Mafia trilogy and not sure if anyone’s said this before, but in 1 and 3, when you’re listening to the radio while driving and going through a tunnel, the channel becomes staticky like there’s interference until you come out the other side. I thought that was a super cool detail.
In Mario Odyssey, when you're in Snow Kingdom, Mario's idle animation will be to shiver. But if you have on a warm outfit, he won't. This isn't just limited to the one you get in Snow Kingdom. I know for a fact at least the Aviator costume you get from lost Kingdom keeps him warm too
Stellar Blade also has those RGB pixel accurate screens. There is one in the middle front desk on the Raphael Space Center, and others in the Levoire underground levels.
I'm glad! I think I saw Johnny Harris use it a while ago and it's a great idea. MrBeast also started using it recently... but his version is so hilariously scummy that I'm not even mad at it: x.com/Dexerto/status/1821282669067694247.
Thank you again for another awsome video guru, i'm brazilian and your videos help me with my english, i love your spotfy playlist and your content. (sorry for the english issues, my english is a work in progress.)
In Halo 2, if you kill an elite and don’t alert other enemies, another elite will crouch over his brother and mourn him. I discovered this on the mission regret after leaving the submerged ruins section and assassinating an honor guard before returning to cover. I played the game dozens of times and I only recently discovered it
I love the firewatch detail so mutch. There are also things in the world or different conversations that add to the drawing as well such as mentioning the bear marks I believe.
Never actually thought of that, but The Simpsons would have to come before Mafia. I needed that transition from historically accurate donuts to testicles to sponsor.
I’ve been playing Arkham Knight since it’s release 9 years ago, and I only just discovered this hidden detail. Another awesome video, Guru. You rock 🙂❤️
Oh wow, I’m a natural door-closer so I always wondered if that bit of Arthur’s dialogue had anything to do with me closing shit behind me. Drives me bonkers when games don’t let you close doors
Yeah! I only found out about that detail recently. I didn't think the game would notice if you left them open, so I always did. I shouldn't have doubted Rocktar.
@@FunWithGuruRDR2 is the best game I have ever played. I recently was on the road watching people on horses coming by with the binoculars. Some waved and some look really annoyed. For a moment most players won't ever see, it's really well animated too! I've been playing some recent AC games and the animation quality definitely dropped a bit.
The arkham series really set the bar for insane details in games. Almost a decade later and I still learn new things about it. 3:14 ok I could’ve gone my whole life without this information.
All Arkham games are gems and I especially adore Arkham Knight. Rocksteady put their hearts and souls into making this masterpiece and I will cherish it forever
There are no easter eggs in this one! This video allowed me to be a bit creative with the editing, and I usually put it in easter eggs when the video has a more simple edit.
It actually did the first time. Thankfully, I record these things like 100 times, so I had another recording where the music changed while I was driving. If you use less than than 10 seconds of a song, you're usually fine.
While recently playing The Last of Us Part II during the flashback where Joel and Ellie head to the Wyoming Live and Science Museum, if you use Ellie’s knife on glass, it makes a little cut.

@@FunWithGuru weird question but where can i find your wallpaper?

I freaking LOVE the recent gag of putting a “Game of the Year Edition” subtitle under mediocre games.
I saw that and I went “No way they released a GOTY edition when they didn’t win GOTY right??”

Here's a Mafia detail you missed: there's a chalkboard that shows years and the corresponding number of murders. Those are historically accurate.
The audio quality for your videos are always refreshing and man I wish the made an Aliens Isolation 2.

This is why RDR2 is king. Solid glass physics and hyper realistic horse balls.
