I haven't played through the story since 2010, and I think it might be my favourite GTA now. I really hope GTA6 has a similar balance of humor and drama. I like GTA5's story a lot, but I think I might have liked it more if Michael and Franklin were the only two leads. The old crook teaching the rookie story was great.

I've been listening to it all the time while making the video. I usually try to end my videos on a more emotional note, but the song is so good that it felt right to end it there.
In Mafia 2, the cutscene changes depending on whether you've changed clothes before arriving to the destination or not. Pretty sure you covered that already, though.
Another mafia 2 details is that if you rob the gas station, then the gas station has 2 police officer asking question about the theft, if you shoot the guy after the rob, the gas station it's closed and you can't use it

I just replayed LA Noire this month and discovered the same detail! I would love to see a sequel, but considering how much focus Rockstar has on GTA Online, I don't think it will ever happen again :/
The game was also only published by Rockstar, so I'm not sure they'd revisit the series. It was developed by the now defunct Team Bondi. I'd just love to see how a game with the same facial animation techonlogy looks today.
Too many people expected L.A. Noire to be a GTA game in a different time period, so they were disappointed. But it’s such a great game! I like that it’s a true “adult game” in terms of treating the player like an adult. It respects you enough to trust that you can handle depictions of racism, domestic abuse, antisemitism, etc. and you’ll understand that they aren’t condoning them.
I guess Easter eggs for new game releases have been pretty barebones considering it’s been almost a year since your last video dedicated to Easter eggs found in just one game. Nonetheless, I’m really glad you’re finding a way to still make great content in this new era of gaming. I love this series and have been an avid watcher of this channel for probably over 10 years now. Thanks for everything you do ❤
Thank you so much! Yeah, I wish I could make those videos more regularly, but games just don't have that much to find anymore. Sometimes there are, but I don't think the game is popular enough and people won't be interested. Black Ops 6 and Assassin's Creed: Shadows might be possible. If not, I have easter egg videos planned that will feature both of those games. There are SO MANY games coming out next year, so hopefully things pick up.

I don't think the detail in Catalyst is that "INSANE", but I just really wanted an excuse to use Mirror's Edge in a video. I think about the series often. It sucks that DICE is now too busy scrambling to rebuild Battlefield's reputation to make a new game.

Hi Guru, nice touch with the Doom + Animal Crossing reference! One easter egg I thought was neat was from the recent summer event Simulanka of genshin impact. If you go to the Broken Sea you'll find a paper mache dude chilling at a bench. If you sit next to him he'll start referencing Forrest Gump scenes like the life is a box of chocolate and more. Hope to see more great work from ya soon!
One fortnite detail I liked: The Toph skin has a solid eye texture rather than a rigged eyeball, so that way the blind girl doesn't end up looking around at things directly during emotes.
There are so many cool skin details like this! I'd love to show them more, but I have to wait 5 months for them to come back to the shop. I waited 100 days for the Sizzlin' emote!

The cyberpunk one is also the same for Meredith Stout if you don't help her with the MILITECH chip during the mission with Maelstrom. You can find her a couple days later out by the dam with cement shoes and a shaved head.
Yeah! I originally considered showing that one, but I like how the Alex one doesn't really acknowledge it. When you see Meredith's body, Johnny appears and has a line. This one just exists because it makes sense, and can be easily missed.

the Doom Eternal detail reminds me of a different detail related to costumes. there is a costume with no helmet, in the last cutscene of the DLC, Doom Guy takes off his helmet. if you have a helmetless costume on for this, it just skips that small part.
Lol in that Fallout clip you highlight a cool detail while accidentally showing us how rain shit falls through solid objects in the game. That tent didn't stop rain at all. As if it was invisible. 😂
