In this video you can learn about the imperial starfighter corps, tie interceptors and how they were flown by imperial pilots, unique and far more deadly than the tie fighter, the interceptor served a unique role within the imperial armada providing cover fire and tearing into rebel starfighters with it's increased maneuverability and speed making it a very unique and helpful to the empire.
