2005: 11 / 11th grade / Junior / Grade 11
Just how effortless is this?
The same ATP should not forget the guy who bageled others has also not won finals when he had match point also make a video on that!
6:48 "Poor man" 😂
When you can't hit a top spin cross-court backhand to save you life against Federer you're bound to be destroyed by his forehand, especially in '05.
Gaudio had some good hands, beautiful backhand too, but he looked like he did not want to be there.
And Fed, well, ruthless... 🙂
Double bagel, not too much celebration, good.
Little remark, Gaston was world number 9 at the time. But this is the season Federer officialy become the G.O.A.T., 2006 is just him saying let me push it in another gear.
Now there are actually games longer than one of the sets Roger has player here.
Edit: 9 double faults for Gaudio though? That's pretty much the story of the match I suppose.
The score doesn't show how hard the match was. Seriously....I am a serious man.
Funny how this was a against a French open Champion (even though Coria basically won the French)
A match from 2005 with a commentator from 1975
Merciless
Murray vs Federer 2014 should've been a double bagel
yeah true but Fed had a bit of mercy ahahha
He had huge mercy on Andy that night, although Roger had back injury during that ATP Finals he just humilliated Andy all night long. He couldn't even play that final dued to that injury:/
Now, it isn't the only double bagel anymore. New one: (Roger Federer vs Mischa Zverev, Halle 2013) 6-0 6-0
Oh... I love one handed backhand players
Update: Nishioka lost to Khachanov
6-0 6-0 7-6
2nd double bagel in the history
This was devastating/amazing
Most competetive love and love match Ive ever seen, mens or womens....Gaudio got worked no question. But how many 30 all games were there? Gaudio had break point etc. Those two play that match on that court at that time in their careers 100 times, Federer doesnt double bagel him once again.
Gaudio looked like he didn’t want to be there even before he got on court.
5:50 101 mph forehand
Only Roger could’ve double Bagelry a top 10 player and grand slam champion like Gaudio. Gaudio was incredible with a booming serve and heavy strokes. Peak Roger was too much, even for an all time great like Gaudio
This was actually a semi-final match. The video is misleading. This is not the title match.
The title isn't referring to the finals of a tournament, but rather, the name of the event:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATP_Finals
Granted, that wasn't the event's name until it was changed in 2009, so.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Gaudio said that the night before the match he had argued with his girlfriend
Anyway Federer was unstoppable
So is he the only person in history of tennis to have personal problems before a match?
@@MrArthurbanks before a Masters Finals? I think y e s
"anyways Federer was unstoppable"
Plot twist: Federer lost the very next match
federer is the best after me and michael
Ironically and sadly, Fed lost his last ever set at Wimbledon 0-6 vs Hurkacz.
Gaudio slept bad that night before the match. There is a comment that explains everything lol. Almost impossible beat that RF but for sure he could make a better match...
07:54
Lol.... and to do it to the last guy to win the FO before Rafa took it next level
Gaudio reminds me of Dolgopolov
Match duration?
50 min

It surely was Lamb to the Slaughter 🤣🤣🤣
