Ex-Brunei Mercedes-Benz SL60 R129 Front Seats Retrim

In this short d:classTV episode, we take you through the process of trimming both the front seats for this outstanding Mercedes-Benz SL60 R129. This car is quite unique, as it once belonged as part of the Sultan of Brunei's grand car collection, rumoured to have an approximation of 3-5 thousand cars including 11 Ferrari F40s.
The vehicle came to us in an extremely clean condition, the only area that was letting it down was the front seats. They were split in some areas, signs of wear on the drivers bolster, a hole on the drivers seat, and lastly a sheen from years of use.
Leather was ordered to match the OEM specifications for the grained and perforated leathers. We also picked a matching thread from our stores, via dclassautoshop.co.uk
Before being collected by our customer, we repaired the seat backs, as they had become loose in some areas.
At d:class we are known for our work on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and we have to say, this is the best-specced and well looked after R129 we have seen to date. All of our staff had something nice to say about it. A very lovely car indeed.
