  • Watch Kris tell his powerful story about a normal morning at work. He was asked to dust an electrical cabinet, to prevent "arc" flashes. He knew how to do the work, but because of some miscommunication, equipment he thought wasn't energized yet was actually live with electricity.
Kris passed away September 28, 2016. He was passionate about sharing his story and helping young burn survivors, through the BC Professional Firefighter’s Young Burn Survivors camp. Share his story with your friends and family, and help everyone stay safe.

Sad. I remember seeing his original BC Hydro video a few years ago and applauding his story. He seemed like a gentle soul. Rip Kris.

In September 2016, Biggs arrived at the emergency room with severe chest, back and head pain.
Biggs ultimately died of an aortic dissection, a heart condition rare for a man his age. Biggs, 27, died in bed the next day.

I’m getting into electricity and I’m terrified of getting into a life threatening accident because of anything ranging from karma to a simple mistake. I be wondering if gods real or not but why not try. Imma pray for you Travalicious128 it’s a scary world out there I can only hope you can do a quick few second one same. Stay easy stay coastin stay strong, keep being you :)

The problem with places like American and Canada is that everyone thinks it's cool to be a hard c**t to work on live equipment.
What's the bet that the company that sent there was working by himself when he's got no experience, no qualifications and I bet NO test equipment?
I've still got no idea why places like that are still so backwards when it comes to electricity? 🤷🏻‍♂️
