I like how the torso could move freely both vertically and horizontally, which creates a wider flexibility for the torso. This is amazingly designed! 👏

Universal basic income for every people!!! Please declare this to government! Cause robots will be assistants, builders, housekeepers, gardeners, massage therapists, hairdressers...
Get it to unlock the pelvis when walking... that sounds weird but it will allow for the upper body remain stable allowing for the robot to make larger steps and be stable at higher momentum because humans do it. Use dexterity and momentum to your advantage. Vary cool robot though. It seems to have a more efficient design then Tesla bot besides the backpack but that may not matter if Tesla bot is more general tasked and more intelligent so it needs capable AI as well.
Tesla's Optimus is incredibly efficient. They have designed it from the ground up for energy efficiency. They have even custom built the dozens of servos in house for maximum strength to efficiency ratio for each individual joint and its needs. The idea is that Optiumus can work all day or most of a day without needing to be docked and charged. They are even using their own 4680 battery cells they use in their cars within the torso. This is why Optimus doesn't have a large backpack looking protrusion and all of Tesla's electronics are tucked inside as well.
I think they need to optimize it more in terms of mobility and dexterity they use alot of steps just to turn it seems it cannot balance it self if stops completely
the first company to figure out how to produce these economically will own the market. people cannot afford another 40,000 dollar luxury in the current economy.
One thing came to my mind while I watched this. I am always disturbed by the way these things walk. And I realized it might be because they don't have muscles? Has anyone in the field ever thought of giving those humanoids some sort of artificial muscular system to make them move more human like? Would it be possible to engineer it? I am no expert, so please go easy on me. It was just my sudden thought :)
During Chernobyl disaster Russia couldn't get a robot to see the blasted reactor..... Will it be useful in that kind of situations..... If yes then I would consider it useful.
You need to redesign the feet. Flat feet will always cause that "full diaper" walk. Actual feet should have at least three different sections and be flexible.
Not that brightburn was some sort of cultural phenomenon where everyone was like all hyped up on it and it's entered the cultural Zeitgeist or anything. Because it hasn't. Just saying.
I know i've asked this in another video, but does the robot have the ability to speak? I mean, if you want to make a companion, you should give it some way to communicate with humans.
@@acoonator3165 not really if the people receive basic income from the government. They can either have some hobby or learn things what robots not capable to do (if there will be any)
Probably much longer. They have shown limited robots like these for many decades already. There is just too much hype about AI now. This feels like the prototype tapes they would find in a terminator movie 💀
Does it require your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle?
Does it have the purpose to terminate?
I'll be back!
Also your sunglasses and shotgun
0:13 he walks like my grandfather 😂
It's impressive compare to others the walk is more close to the human but there are a lot to work to do on the feets in term of flexibility.
I need this song!

OMG! Here we're seeing the future! 🚀🎉
Truly a mesmerising and impactful work team Figure. 🎉💯
Nice! Does it come in black?
The torso mechanism should be adopted to all joint part like ankle, knee and hip joint. Go for it!

Would love it to have head/neck movement, like Asimo.
Good
Still got the poopy walk problem so many humanoid robots have.

Ok so if they are using robots to do a job of a paid person, does that mean the car will be cheaper? Or are they going to go up 2 ?
I guess "real feet" that are not just rigid plates, are too complex so an actual human-like walk is still far away.
