Tony is definitely one of my favorite guest shark. He is very reasonable, and like Mark, always willing to give advice.

So, Tony and Rosa went to school together, she gets a spot on Shark Tank (what are the odds) and Tony ends up being the Shark that invests with very little actual debate or any counters… this absolutely feels scripted to me. I bet these two had this deal done before she ever stepped on that carpet. Maybe free advertising for a product Tony was already in on? 😅
That’s an interesting point. I immediately thought that he didn’t actually remember her at all and the producers prompted him to say. That’s what felt scripted. She said they weren’t even in the same class. 🤔 🧐🧐🕵🏻♀️

When all 4 sharks had a very similar group of reasons for going out, he was the only one who not only made an offer, but it wasn't even that wild.
Now I'm interested to know did he make money or lose his own?
We support our brothers and sisters, Daymond will do the same. But further more, nobody wants the F&B business, too much headache and you wont see return after 3-5 years, they are OLD lol. Tony is young and he doesn't mind exploring more businesses, of course he saw potentials. This makes him and the show looks good.
I drank this prior to seeing this episode. It tastes amazing to be honest. Really good product, everything else aside.

Nepotism like this is commonplace in the tech world where Tony Xu is from. In fact, the tech industry runs on nepotism and tribalism so no surprise here. He’s not a beverage guy but he makes a very generous offer anyway on a product with huge risk and no profitability

@@aimlessdrive8723yet theyre spending more than that on initial capital investments, manufacturing and marketing and are asking for more to expand further. It’s a gamble, reliant on whether the brand rockets. It’s fickle, like trying to predict the weather with a wet finger.

I feel a little lost because this is a product I would never go behind. I feel like a while I drink this regularly except for when I feel sick. And when I think about my own ideas and my dreams, I wonder what investments given that the investments I see are typically for products that don’t make any sense to me.
