Actually, you have to shoot down four TIE fighters to complete the optional level. You know you took down all TIE fighters with another appears out of nowhere, about to crash into the hanger.
Well they don't crash into the hangar they just Impact on the Doomgiver's surface. Like how in "Star wars: A new hope" an X-Wing pilot fires its ship's proton torpedoes to the exhaust port of the death star but it just impact's on the death star's surface.
This is a fun level. And really is because of the way you send the stormtroopers in the stars. It's not difficult lightsaber and Force only and I like how Kyle goes through it. At 15:54 when Kyle looks at that Imperial officer, he would say 'Maybe he will let me in if I ask politely.' Or something like that. This will be the hint you should know to mind trick him. Anyways, I like fighting the shadowtroopers the way you do. I use a lot of powers against them.
All this Stormtrooper shoptalk is making me want to play TIE Fighter, except I'm still a complete noob at space dogfight sims after all these years. Fun as heck serving the Empire, though, constantly have to watch your back.
I'm late but whatever. At 4:55 theres panel which activates shields (left side) and opens up the lock (right side). You can see if its activated 5:24 , or not 4:16
Protip: At 10:25, you can avoid the firefight by persuading the stormtroopers to work for you. Here's how. Plant a remote detonation bomb near the shute you came in from. Planting the bomb will usually go by undetected, but sometimes it will aggro one of the men, so make sure to make a beeline for the chute once you plant it. Once youre in a safe position, trigger the bomb and keep watch from the safe, lit side of the chute. Pick a stormtrooper and use your newly acquired Mind Trick 3 to recruit him. Heavy Repeater guards are good, Merr-Sonn guards are the best. Seeing them fire heat-seeking missles at the officers is priceless. Watch the guards pick eachother off, recruit some more guards if neccessary. Once it goes quiet, you can swoop in and relieve your bash buddy of his firearm. And hey..Pay it forward! Let the last man standing off with his life. Who's to say he won't meet a foxy rebel lady someday who lets him know the empire killed his father, just like you did? He might be good friend in disguise. =)
I love hanger part of this level, especially the second hanger where the enemy can see you through the window but can't get at you. I particularly loved to use Jedi mind trick to make the stormtroopers kill each other in order to both clear out the area and free up their ammo in case I needed it. The case of the assault droids, I like to use the rocket launchers secondary tracking fire mode in conjunction with force speed after the first regular speed shot.
I guess the reason was why Desann and Galak covered their tracks on where to keep Jan was to use Jan for the layout of the Jedi Academy. What do you think of my opinion (Feel free to state a reply)
Hey. I figured it out. Remember in the control room when you suck all the stormtroopers outta the locked hanger you're trying to get into? Well to the right of the airlock controls is a switch. Flip it so that there's a green circle (the same green circle that corresponds to the hallway to access the hanger elevator.)
Lightningboltforever I used to play this game all the time. Couple of the best tricks I learned: Use the rocket launcher against turrets, bowcaster is my best weapon against large groups of troopers, and the BEST trick against Reborn, Shadowtroopers, Tavion and Desaan: Use the Stun Baton! Works like a charm.
Eh, I didn't think they were all that bad, if you just run past them and flood them out through the hangar doors. But I do really like the fight with Fyyar. The next level is a great one IMO.
Hm... Kyle may have less force powers, but it would most likely be decided by their lightsaber skills. And it's gonna be interesting, because Kyle fights in Djem So and Starkiller fights in Juyo.
So much making the troopers flying into space! Never gets old!
To see Jan again is a wonderful thing!
Reminds of a Treehouse of Horror episode of The Simpsons where Homer accidently sucked Bob Dole and Bill Clinton into space.
“Desann started asking me about the layout of the Jedi Academy” “Oh no, I think Desann is going to attack the Jedi Academy” lol you think?
yeah lol, also I thought Luke said earlier that Desann was a trainee at the academy.
The Troopers went flying into the spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!
I was waiting for this comment, hahaha.
is anyone else hoping the aliens from "Independence Day" is somewhere nearby??

At the end of the level, there is going to be a surprise that Kyle is not going to believe
And it's Jan!! =D
Yay! Jan is saved! ^_^
She lives to fight another day! =D
Lo Wang (after decapitating a Reborn with a katana blade): YOU NO MESS WITH LO WANG!!!!
Man, I've been waiting for this all day, caught a cold, so I'm stuck at home :/
I hope you feel better! Having a cold is no fun. =(
Thank you, I got much better since yesterday, also thx to your video, I'm sure:)

@@Jack_Hoff_69 thanks haha I should finish this game eventually

How?
15:20 that dodge tho
I hate that I cant watch this LP of yours LBF< you know I support you!
Its just....
I'm playing the game right now myself!
Ohhh, trying not to spoil anything? I gotcha, haha. =)
Exactly! I wanna finish it my own way, then watch your playthrough and see what I missed, or what I could have done differently!
You should use Force Lightning bolts... forever. XD
This level was a nice callback 2 A New Hope.
You should use lighting more. At level 3 is perfect, but at level 2 is already pretty good (imho better than push-pull) to get rid of Stormtroopers.
I guess the reason was why Desann and Galak covered their tracks on where to keep Jan was to use Jan for the layout of the Jedi Academy. What do you think of my opinion (Feel free to state a reply)
Do you notice when you just slice off the evildoers very own bodyparts?
You are doing a very nice job !!! :-D Sorry 'cause i'm asking, where are you from ?
I left those three hangar doors open. So I could let some rebel fighters or bombers in to try to damage breach the hangar bays
Isn't it a bit unfair to kill a poor trooper that is disarmed and lying on his back? Oh well, it's not like he could hit a target anyways...
Force choke and throw light saber. Lol that’s my go to
I always do that on Jedi Academy too lol
7:55 the elevator isn't coming for me
Griffon Koch me neither
SAME!

I am a jedi, *slaughters stormtroopers harder than children at the jedi temple*
@@thespaghettiman3740 I am no jedi. I am a Gamer.
I’m not sure if it still works or not but if you vaporise corpes of shadow troopers you’ll get second crystal

Those hangers were awful, but hey there's a cool boss in the next level

Who would win in a fight? Kyle or starkiller?
@Erga ditano dann right he will
Kyle
Hm... Kyle may have less force powers, but it would most likely be decided by their lightsaber skills. And it's gonna be interesting, because Kyle fights in Djem So and Starkiller fights in Juyo.
Kyle, because his lightsaber can actually kill people while Starkillers is just a light club.
Anyone else playing this in 2020?
