It looks so heavy to carry, but the contents are so interesting. I really like to read it because I like Japanese culture.

It’s a wonderful review. I love yokai and Japanese folklore. This is a very intriguing book, now I want to search for it on the Internet.
Speaking of similar ones, I’ve read a few books related to yokai, including ‘The Book of Yokai’, which does not contain as many images, even though it has some old ones along with the original drawings for the book, but gives a reader quite a lot of information on how these beings may be a different way to interpret reality, also reviewing the history behind them. It’s uses academical approach, but very easy to understand. I think it can be a good addition to the book you’ve presented here.
Thank you for the video. I’m more than pleased to see book reviews with such interesting topics

@@scissoritz Thank you for the comment! If the book you were referring to was The Book of Yokai by Michael Dylan Foster, then yes I read and reviewed that one too, as you saw! I agree with you that Foster's book leans more academic but is a good complement to the book I'm reviewing in this video and for anyone interested in yokai in general.

Maybe some of these yokai are more than just imagine maybe some of them are real but they exaturate in their descreption like kappa and ningen which scientist found in antarctica so there's more to it than just photos
